While the rest of the nation dressed as Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson for Halloween, the reality starlet put that same flair for pageantry into her pink pirate wench costume on Wednesday.
In a photo obtained by TMZ, precocious 7-year-old Honey Boo Boo smiles cherubically while wearing a pink and black pigtail wig, lashes and red lips, and a pink and black pirate dress fastened with a skull-and-crossbones belt.
The Toddlers & Tiaras star finished her trick or treat look off with a festive purple jack- o’-lantern basket.
On Halloween, Honey Bo Boo was seen playing in her McIntyre home’s front yard alongside a similarly costumed friend sporting a two-tone wig, blue dress and Frankenstein stitches on her arms and legs.
According to TMZ, Honey Boo Boo had a great time and ate delicious candy, including her favorite – lollipops.
Alana Thompson has been known to ingest a junk food and “Go-Go-Juice”, a mixture of Mountain Dew and Red Bull, that her mother June Shannon provides for her before pageant shows.
TV Guide recently confirmed that Alana Thompson’s hit TLC spin-off series, Here Comes Honey Boo, was renewed and three specials are due to air for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
The popular show follows Honey Boo Boo, along with her mother, father Mike Thompson, and her three older sisters in their rural Georgia hometown.

In a special Halloween clip released by TLC, the street-smart star told viewers that her favorite costume for the holiday was actually her “bride costume”.
“I love that costume and then you can get married in your costume,” Honey Boo Boo told cameras.
Meanwhile, her stay-at-home mother waxed lyrical about some of her favorite kids’ costumes.
“My cutest costume I’ve had for my kids would be… Alana would be a princess because she’s a princess diva,” said June Shannon.
“Jessica has been… last year when she dressed up as a kind of Madonna issue, I thought that was kinda like crazy.”
And she added of her oldest daughter who has just given birth to a six-fingered baby girl: “Anna has never been into trick or treating so she never like dressed up as a kid.”
Honey Boo Boo and her mother just returned from Los Angeles where they promoted their series on Dr. Drew, Access Hollywood, and the Jimmy Kimmel show where the tiny diva officially endorsed President Barack Obama.

Honey Boo Boo has yet again made it into the Presidential election campaign – this time with Vice President Joe Biden admitting to “catching snippets” of the TLC show on Air Force Two.
Quizzed about his pop culture habits, gaffe-prone Joe Biden revealed his favorite television shows were Modern Family and Parks and Recreation in an interview with a Miami Radio station on Friday.
But Joe Biden said he was well aware of the phenomenon that is Here Comes Honey Boo Boo after watching the program while travelling.
“Beyond Modern Family and Parks and Recreation, that’s about it, those are ones that I spend most of my time [watching],” Joe Biden told 93.9 MIA radio.
“I haven’t spent most of my time with pop culture that, like, my granddaughter talks about. Like Honey Boo Boo is not top on my list, but I am aware just, you know by catching snippets on Air Force Two, [that it is] quite a phenomenon. But, but I do try.”

Honey Boo Boo’s estranged pet pig Glitzy made a surprise appearance on Anderson Cooper’s live show recently after spending a week in the city weathering the effects of Hurricane Sandy.
Anderson Cooper had arranged for the reality star teacup pig to feature on his Halloween episode and flew him in before the storm hit.
During his post-Sandy live show Anderson Cooper joked: “It’s very hard to find places for a pig to stay in the city, let me just tell you.”
Glitzy was given to Honey Boo Boo by her parents earlier this year but after falling in love with her new squealing ball of fur, her outspoken mother June Shannon, decided the animal would have to leave the house.
Anderson Cooper told viewers: “They finally got rid of it and sent it away to a farm which frankly I thought meant they ate it.”
But as his audience chuckled the silver-haired television host revealed that they didn’t in fact kill the pig for bacon and was right there in the studio.
Greeting the sweet black and white pig, who despite being male was named Glitzy by his princess-loving former owner, Anderson Cooper displayed a gentle touch with the animal.
After he squealed and squeaked a bit, Glitzy finally settled into Anderson Cooper’s arms as he kissed it lightly on the head and reassured the traumatized creature.

Honey Boo Boo showed similar affection to her pet back in August when she crowned Glitzy with a tiara and pronounced her female.
“We’re going to be the prettiest girls at the pageant and there’s no way we can’t win cause I’ve got me a pig, how about that?” she told him.
Devastated by Glitzy’s sudden departure, Honey Boo Boo – real name Alana – burst into tears and waved goodbye to him.
“What I love about Glizy is that she loves me,” Honey Boo Boo had once confessed.
But unable to cope with the constant noise and lack of house training the family had to let the pig go.

In an appearance on the Dr Drew show, Alana Thompson, the star of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, feigned sleep rather than have to answer the popular TV doctor’s questions.
Honey Boo Boo only opened her eyes to declare that she doesn’t like being on TV.
“Fans come up to me and I hate it,” she shouted.
Leaning forward to get the little girl’s attention the Celebrity Rehab host asked his barefoot guest: “Is it difficult to be on TV?”
But the uncooperative Honey Boo Boo, whom TLC and her family have already come under fire for exploiting, responded by snoring loudly.
It was not until her mother, June Shannon said: “Alana, Come on now let’s get this done so we can go,” that Dr Drew managed to elicit a reply from the cranky child.

Dr Drew also tried to get normally outgoing little girl to do some cartwheels but she flatly refused.
Honey Boo Boo and June Shannon are in Los Angeles to promote the upcoming series of their reality TV show and have been busy making appearances on Access Hollywood and the Jimmy Kimmel show, where Alana Thompson endorsed President Barack Obama.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo will return to TLC with new episodes and several holiday specials after the elementary school student has a well earned break.
The fidgety seven-year-old is clearly tiring of the promotional media circuit as she was also fidgety and bored during her Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance.
After wriggling uncontrollably, Honey Boo Boo pretended to have a quick nap, resting her head in her arms and also shoved her hand in Jimmy Kimmel’s glass of water before flicking it at the audience.
But Honey Boo Boo’s erratic behavior may also be due to her diet junk food and Go-Go-Juice, a mixture of Mountain Dew and Red Bull, that June Shannon gives her daughter before pageant shows.

Honey Boo Boo’s gay Uncle Poodle, Lee Thompson, has spoken out about what it is like to be gay in the South.
Uncle Poodle bravely shared his harrowing memories in a video for GLAAD’s Spirit Day.
Lee Thompson says he has fallen victim to some horrible attacks at the hand of ignorant thugs, which have left him with broken ribs and a dislocated jaw.
Sugar Bear’s brother made the horrifying reveal in a video for GLAAD – which was created to fight intolerance and violence against the LGBT community.
Uncle Poodle explains in the reel: “Being gay in the South… people don’t like it.”
“Growing up as a kid, I was bullied day in and day out … broke ribs, dislocated jaw, cars vandalized … I’ve had cars vandalized to this day.”
But Uncle Poodle says he was able to get through it all because of his family and friends who stand by him.
“But I have a family that stands by me, supports me,” he said.
Adding: “I’m wearing purple today to let every youngster and every teen know it is okay to be who you are. Don’t let nobody change that.”

Honey Boo Boo herself, real name Alana Thompson, supports her uncle wholeheartedly.
On the season finale of her hit TV show, Honey Boo Boo voiced her pro-LGBT stance, saying “ain’t nothin’ wrong with bein’ a little gay”.
Uncle Poodle is Honey Boo Boo’s undisputed favorite.
Lee Thompson explained to the Georgia Voice how Honey Boo Boo came up with the Poodle nickname.
“We were at practice one day, getting ready for a pageant. Her coach was talking about her gay friends, and she said, <<I love all my poodles>>,” he told the Georgia Voice.
“Alana thought she was really talking about dogs. She wanted to know how many poodles she had, and what were their names. And I said, <<No, Alana, she’s talking about gay people>>. Well, that did it. All gay people are poodles to her now, and I’m her number one poodle.”

Only in LA would you find an ATM machine that dispenses cupcakes and Honey Boo Boo and her family sought it out pretty much immediately after arriving on the West Coast.
Honey Boo Boo, 7, was as excited as can be to make her selection, and even stuck her head into the machine while still eating her first cake.
Everyone’s favorite reality star was joined by her mother June Shannon.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show star recently endorsed President Barack Obama as her choice to continue his run as Commander in Chief.
Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel this week, where her mother revealed she is saving the profits from her young daughter’s fame in a fund for her.
June Shannon told Jimmy Kimmel: “I am the manager, the agent in all of this. I know what’s best for my kids… that’s why I chose to put money in the trust fund.
“This journey may last six months or it may last a year but I don’t want ten years down the road Alana or any of the kids to be thinking, <<oh my god, I have nothing to show for it>>. So I wanted to put it in a trust fund, split equally for all the kids.
“So most of the money is there, and the other money goes to our community outreach programmes like the UR brand that we raise for anti-bullying.”
Honey Boo Boo says she doesn’t get her own allowance just yet, but that Mama gives her money to go to the store.
“Like if I wanna go to the store, she gives me my own money. I buy some candy or somethin’, or somethin’ to eat,” she said.
On her nickname as “coupon queen”, June Shannon admitted: “Unfortunately because we’ve had a busy schedule I don’t get to coupon as much as I used to, but when I do get to coupon… oh boy.
“It’s kind of like an addictive drug for me, you save money for your family, but I could be a multimillionaire and I’d still save family for my family.”
Honey Boo Boo and her family are about to change their lifestyle as with fame comes money, travel and fancy meals in posh restaurants.
It all started for Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, on Tuesday at Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump’s Beverly Hills restaurant, Villa Blanc.
Honey Boo Boo and her mother, June Shannon, were treated to the restaurant’s spaghetti and tomato sauce dish to see how it measured up with their favorite concoction.
Judging by the way Honey Boo Boo was dangling strand after strand into her mouth with gay abandon we can assume that the answer is, very well.

Before long, Honey Boo Boo will be demanding chai lattes instead of Mountain Dew and having burrata flown in from Italy to scatter on her pasta.
Then there’ll be the celebrity diet, and she’ll inevitably launch a singing career.
The joy of little Alana Thompson and her family is that they’ve not yet been affected by the fame, or Hollywood.
Honey Boo Boo proved her personality is far from pint sized on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel.
Seven-year-old Alana Thompson was unable to contain her excitement and boredom during the nine minute segment, which she appeared on with her mother, June Shannon.
While uncontrollably wriggling, Honey Boo Boo endorses Barack Obama, admits she once had a stutter and discusses her allowance; while mother June Shannon reveals how all the money made from the show is split equally between the children in a trust fund.
Meanwhile, they youngster decides to have a quick nap, resting her head in her arms, but not before shoving her hand in Jimmy Kimmel’s glass of water and then flicking it at the audience.
Turning to June Shannon, otherwise known as Mama, Jimmy Kimmel asks: “The Kardashians are making millions of dollars, and their show is about as popular as yours. Are you making millions of dollars?”
Earnestly, Mama replied: “No, we just started out, you don’t make millions when you first start out.
“I am the manager, the agent in all of this. I know what’s best for my kids… that’s why I chose to put money in the trust fund.

Jimmy Kimmel pointed out the family’s other nickmanes, like Chubs, Sugar Bear and Pumpkin.
Honey Boo Boo offered: “I have other nicknames, one’s Smoochi and one’s T.T.
“It’s because when I was little I used to stutter. I used to say a <<lotta T, T, T>>”
Jimmy Kimmel turned the focus to politics, telling the mother-daughter duo that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney recently said he prefers Snooki to the TLC stars.
“Do you know who Mitt Romney is?” asked Jimmy Kimmel.
“No,” replied Honey Boo Boo.
He tried again: “Barack Obama?”
Answering with uncertainty, she said: “The President?”
Jimmy Kimmel thne asked who she would be supporting this year.
“Marack Obama,” she replied, as Mama adjusted her daughter’s legs into a more ladylike position, an ongoing struggle between the pair during the segment.
Nine minutes later and the youngster jumped for joy when she realized it was over.
“You better Redneckognize!” she yelled.

June Shannon has hired a 24-hour bodyguard to protect her youngest daughter, Honey Boo Boo.
The security measure is believed to be in response to an alleged plot to abduct seven-year-old reality star Alana Thompson.
While the network behind the hit show, TLC, has denied any suggestions of a kidnap plot, June Shannon, confirmed the full-time protection via Facebook.
June Shannnon wrote: “Alana doesn’t go anywhere without her bodyguard! We have one 24/7 everywhere we go ALL the time!”
According to The National Enquirer, Honey Boo Boo’s school received abduction threats from an anonymous caller.
June Shannon has hired a 24-hour bodyguard to protect Honey Boo Boo
A source told the tabloid: “June is terrified. With the threats on Alana’s safety increasing, security is being provided for her around the clock.
“There was a meeting with all the teachers at Alana’s school. They have been instructed to keep an eye on Alana, and they know to report anything suspicious immediately.”
An attempted break-in at the Honey Boo Boo household in rural McIntyre, Georgia on August 27 is also believed to have triggered concerns over their safety.
The source added that police told the clan it “may have been casing the place for a future kidnap attempt, by someone convinced that TLC would pay a huge ransom for their newest little star”.
Despite Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show attracting huge ratings since airing on August 8, the family has remained in the same neighborhood.
The National Enquirer reveals that the family has thought “about moving, but the problem is that TLC has them locked under contract to keep their lifestyle”.
However, TMZ previously reported that the network wanted to help the stars relocate to a larger and more secure home, but June Shannon declined the offer.
It also described that TLC boosted the family’s wage from approximately $5,000 per episode, to a sky-high $20,000 after seeing the success of the series.
Honey Boo Boo got stuck into the attractions at a local country fair in Atlanta, Georgia.
Alana Thompson, 7, especially enjoyed herself as she ran around in a giant inflatable ball positioned on water, laughing as she threw herself on the floor of the see-through orb.
The youngster sported a practical outfit of jeans and a red and white top as she hit the fair with her famous family.
Sisters Anna “Chickadee”, Jessica “Chubbs” and Lauryn “Pumpkin” strolled alongside mother June Shannon, although there was no sign of Alana’s father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.
Sugar Bear is currently recovering after undergoing an operation on his leg to treat an infection.

Earlier, Honey Boo Boo was spotted keeping herself entertained outside the family’s house, playing with a wheelchair which Sugar Bear has been using while his leg recovers.
The family home in rural McIntyre Georgia, has already been decorated for Halloween, with a plastic orange pumpkin set out on the outside stairs.
The family is having to get used to their new found fame, after their reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was a ratings hit for TLC.
TMZ have reported that TLC boosted the family’s salary from approximately $5,000 per episode, to a sky-high $20,000 after seeing the success of the series.
It added that TLC also offered to cover a number of additional expenses for the family, including a driver and bodyguard figure for Sugar Bear who was hospitalized recently after a “mud-boggin” crash.
The site also reports that the network wanted to help the clan relocate to a larger and more secure home, but June Shannon declined the offer as she likes to decorate the property over the holidays for the local community.
June Shannon has also refused to sign with an agent, despite numerous offers, TMZ says, for fear that a publicity schedule would keep her away from Sugar Bear and her girls.
TLC offered Alana Thompson, aka Honey Boo Boo, and her self-proclaimed redneck family their own spin-off series this year after she appeared on Toddlers & Tiaras.
The début season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo enjoyed an average of 2.4 million viewers per episode.
In response to the show’s success, TLC has ordered three HOLLAday specials (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) and additional episodes of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has become a pop culture phenomenon,” said Amy Winter, general manager of the U.S. network.
“What you see is what you get and we are excited to share even more of Alana and her family’s unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers.”
June Shannon came under fire for giving her daughter Go-Go-Juice, a mixture of Mountain Dew and Red Bull, before little Honey Boo Boo took to the stage in pageants.
Yet the mother-of-four thought it wise to take seven-year-old Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson to the Coca-Cola factory in Atlanta, Georgia, for a family day out instead of somewhere educational.
The whole gang – including Honey Boo Boo’s half-sisters Lauryn, Anna and Jessica, and her father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson – were spotted as they took photographs with Coca-Cola’s iconic polar bear.
They also took the factory tour, watched a 3D movie on the secret ingredient, posed by the famous American Idol chair, and tasted different varieties of the carbonated drink from across the globe.

Honey Boo Boo initially found fame on Toddlers & Tiaras before landing her own self-titled spin-off show on TLC, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
She was seen confidently playing around the tourist spot, dressed appropriately in black leggings and a white blouse with stars speckled on it – instead of garish pageant clothes.
Even Honey Boo Boo’s newborn niece Kaitlyn went along for the ride, strapped to her mother Anna.
The last episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which aired at the end of September, saw the 17-year-old single mother give birth during the season finale.
Meanwhile, Honey Boo Boo played the devoted daughter, pushing her father around in his wheelchair.
Sugar Bear recently spent 12 days in hospital following emergency surgery to fix a leg infection.
In other news on the loveable rogues, TMZ have reported that TLC boosted the family’s salary from approximately $5,000 per episode, to a sky-high $20,000 after seeing the success of the series.
The first season finale of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo aired at the end of last month with new episodes quickly ordered.
So Honey Boo Boo and her family are currently enjoying a hiatus from filming while they gear up for season two.
The clan took a family outing in their hometown of Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday.
And no doubt the beauty pageant favorite, her mother June Shannon and sisters were delighted that Sugar Bear could join them for the day out.
The patriarch of the family was seen walking for the first time following a leg operation.
Sugar Bear recently spent 12 days in hospital following emergency surgery to fix an infection on his leg.
Some media reports stated that Sugar Bear may lose the leg but his other half June denied the rumors saying: “He is not getting his leg amputated, what it was he had a four wheeler wreck a couple weeks ago and his leg was badly bruised.”
Honey Boo Boo looked a little bored as she waited on the porch of her family home for everyone to be ready for the outing.
The seven-year-old was dressed in a cute green T-shirt with hedgehogs on and the words “Don’t burst my bubble”.
She also wore jeans but the shoe fan showed her girly side in her favorite high-heeled sparkling silver sandals.
Also seen today was Honey Boo Boo’s new niece Kaitlyn, who viewers saw arrive into the family in the finale of the show’s first season.
Kaitlyn was carried in a convertible car seat by her mother Anna, 18, or Chickadee as she is affectionately known.
Anna was spotted chatting to sister Jessica “Chubbs” and a friend.
In other news on the loveable rogues, TMZ have reported that TLC boosted the family’s salary from approximately $5,000 per episode, to a sky-high $20,000 after seeing the success of the series.
It is believed they were even offered a larger home, but mother June Shannon declined.
Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is only seven-year-old, but she is already used to wearing make-up and grown-up clothes when she takes part in child beauty pageants.
So it was no surprise that the pint-sized reality star stepped out in a pair of strappy silver heels as she joined her family for a family shopping trip to Walmart on Saturday.
Honey Boo Boo was joined by her mother June Shannon and three sisters at the store in Alabama before the young star made a public appearance at a nearby shopping mall.
Alana Thompson also wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan “show off!” perhaps appropriate for the star, whose confident appearance on the TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo! has made it a big hit with viewers.

Since its début in August, the show has averaged 2.3 million viewers per episode.
It topped all individual cable and network broadcasts of the Republican National Convention on August 19 getting a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In fact, the network has already ordered a second season of the show, along with three holiday specials – dubbed “HOLLAday” special shows, celebrating Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas with America.
Amy Winter, general manager of TLC, said: “Alana and her family have become a pop culture phenomenon.
“What you see is what you get, and we are excited to share even more of their unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers.”
The programme focuses on the four sisters, along with Anna’s baby Kaitlyn and Honey Boo Boo’s father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.
For their trip to Walmart, the sisters all sported casual clothes, with baby Kaitlyn strapped to Honey Boo Boo’s front.
The family was without patriarch Sugar Bear who has recently been treated in hospital for a nasty leg infection.
“He is not getting his leg amputated, what it was he had a four wheeler wreck a couple weeks ago and his leg was badly bruised,” June Shannon revealed.
“Sugar Bear is a big baby, when he gets hurt he’s a big baby and he likes us to stay and when we have to leave he doesn’t like it.”
Dance Moms TV personality Abbey Lee Miller has ripped into Honey Boo Boo, saying she needs to lose weight.
Abbey Lee Miller made the controversial comments today – saying the youngster needs to get fit if she wants to win pageants.
The tough-talking choreographer spoke to TMZ, admitting she wasn’t happy with her own weight issues.
But she then went on to blast Honey Boo Boo, saying: “[She] needs to get in shape. She needs to be at a dance studio.
“She needs to be training. She needs to work on her turnout.”
Honey Boo Boo at Georgia’s Miss Sparkle and Shine Pageant
Wednesday night saw the season finale of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo aired on TLC.
During the episode the youngster – real name Alana Thompson – had to be coaxed on stage by her mother June Shannon at Georgia’s Miss Sparkle and Shine Pageant.
“Mama, I think I’m a little chunky today,” Honey Boo Boo said to her mother at the show.
Her mother replied: “You have to stay away from those chicken nuggets,” as they both became concerned the velcro on her pink could come undone.
Prior to her on-stage turn, one of Honey Boo Boo’s sisters described how the junk food-loving seven-year-old was bigger than most of the other pageant contestants.
“Alana’s not your average pageant person. Most of the girls are like twigs. She’s more of a log… or a boulder.”
Honey Boo Boo managed to muster the confidence to get on stage, though, and show off her dress.
“Once she gets into pageant mode she becomes a different child,” her mother June Shannon said from the audience.
Honey Boo Boo missed out on the grand title, but was awarded People’s Choice prize.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’s finale for the first half of season one aired last night and TLC has already ordered more episodes.
The reality show stars pageant queen Alana Thompson, 7, and family members, dad Sugar Bear, mother June Shannon and big sisters Pumpkin, Chickadee and Chubbs.
Amy Winter, general manager of TLC, said yesterday: “Alana and her family have become a pop culture phenomenon.
“What you see is what you get, and we are excited to share even more of their unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers.”

Honey Boo Boo’s family are reportedly asking for a raise for Season 2, hoping for $10,000 per episode.
The currently receive a reported $4,000-per-episode but TLC has not commented on the contract negotiations.
During the finale for part one of season one, the one-hour episode titled It Is What It Is will see Honey Boo Boo prep for her latest spectacle with her “rebelchious” Uncle Poodle.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, is apparently at war with her ex, Michael Ford, after he has demanded she allow him to see his estranged daughter, Jessica.
Honey Boo Boo’s half sister, Jessica Shannon, also known as Chubbs, is the daughter of Michael Ford, a registered sex offender once charged with sexual exploitation of a minor over the Internet.
According to The National Enquirer, Michael Ford is remorseful of his 2005 crime, and has defied June Shannon, writing an open letter to the 15-year-old, who stars on the hit TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, urging her to get in touch with him.
Michael Ford was arrested in 2005 after he contacted an undercover policeman posing as a 13-year-old girl in an online chat room.
He believed he was talking to a minor, and subsequently sent a naked picture of himself along with instructions on how to perform oral sex.
June Shannon is at war with her ex Michael Ford after he has demanded she allow him to see his estranged daughter Jessica
After he arranged a place to meet the supposed minor, he was immediately arrested. After pleading guilty, he spent more than two years in prison.
Now, Michael Ford says he is desperate for his daughter’s grandparents to meet her, according to the Enquirer.
But June Shannon, fiercely protective of her daughter, says Michael Ford only wants to see his daughter because she is now “famous”.
“He hasn’t wanted to deal with Jessica for 15 years, and all of a sudden, the show comes out and he’s father of the year,” she purportedly told the Enquirer.
Michael Ford, who maintains he has been paying child support since 2004, says he has tried to be a responsible parent “all along”, blaming June Shannon for his seven year absence in Jessica’s life.
“Last November, June told me if I tried to come to the house to see Jessica, she’d have me arrested for harassment!” he explained.
“I was shocked to see Jessica on television the night the show premiered, but when I tried to see her the next day, I was told: <<If you want to see your daughter, turn the television on Wednesday nights>>.”
Michael Ford says he is making a last ditch effort with an open letter to his daughter.
“Honey, your dad messed up, but I’ve done my time. Despite what you have been told, I’ve always tried to be with you.
“I’d like you to meet your grandparents before they pass on. If I had the money I’d fight to get visitation with you, but I don’t.
“Your mom thinks I want to see you to get the money from you, but I don’t want the money – I just want to spend time with my baby girl, so you can get to know me and my family. Nothing could make me happier. I love you.”
Honey Boo Boo and her family posed for a photoshoot in the hilarious season finale of reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo to air on Wednesday night.
Things don’t quite go to plan as the gang take part in a family portrait, with the 101°F heat causing tempers to flair as Honey Boo Boo smudges her make-up off and ends up resembling “a football player”.
The action kicks off with the Thompson crew dressing up for what is meant to be some fun in the sun, including the pageant hopeful sporting a pink floral frock and gold clips in her blonde hair.
Mother June Shannon even turns a little philosophical as she is seen telling the camera: “Beauty comes from within. If you’ve got a great personality and everything, then it shines through to the outside.
“It doesn’t matter. Big, small, little… beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Skinny, fat, it don’t matter.”
Honey Boo Boo smudges make-up as family portrait turns sour in season finale
Father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson then muses over his choice of outfit, oblivious to the comedic deadpan delivery, saying: “I just went casual, I’m not the dress-up type – unless it’s a funeral.”
However, things soon take a turn for the worse as the soaring heat fails to impress anyone.
Precocious Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, is seen pinching a water bottle from her mother while June Shannon is still drinking, with the cheeky child claiming she thought the family matriarch had finished sipping.
The seven-year-old then grows irritable and very tetchy, bemoaning “the heat drains me”, before rubbing her eyes and being told she resembles “a football player” after her eye make-up smudges.
June Shannon also rather unattractively says: “Man, I’m taking a bath in my own sweat.”
Another drama to unfold in the episode sees Honey Boo Boo gearing up for a big pageant, before plans change as sister Anna Chickadee goes into labor, and the arrival of baby Kaitlyn is captured on camera.
The season finale of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo airs on Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
Cheeky Honey Boo Boo appears to have the troublemaker gene, as she was seen running around a police car while sticking her tongue out.
Fortunately there was no officer behind the wheel that she was caught goading, as the reality star spread her arms in an airplane stance while swooping around the parked law enforcer vehicle.
The little blondie, real name Alana Thompson, was seen wearing a red Piggly Wiggly T-shirt, complete with “See You At The Pig!” slogan across the back, while getting up to mischief.
Honey Boo Boo, also wearing a pair of floral cycling shorts, was free to roam across her front yard barefoot while larking around in her hometown of McIntyre, Georgia.
Despite playing during the school hours on a Tuesday afternoon instead of sitting at a desk in a classroom, Honey Boo Boo’s mother June Shannon insists that she is not exploiting her daughter.
Speaking to Radar Online, she said: “I don’t exploit Alana. I would never exploit my kids. Critics are critics and everybody has their opinions but I am not doing anything wrong.
“It’s always been about fun and it’s an experience in life that they can look back at.”
June Shannon added: “We watch the show and wish they put in more stuff!”
Honey Boo Boo originally found fame on Toddlers & Tiaras, before landing her own spin-off.
It is no wonder the lure of the small screen has enticed June Shannon to sign on the dotted line, with the family reported to earn an estimated $2-4,000 per episode, expected to soar for a new series.
And while the seven-year-old playfully ran rings around the police car, June Shannon has had a real run-in with the law, with the coupon queen arrested in January 2008 for theft and contempt of court.
Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, has stated that her granddaughter Kaitlyn will not be having surgery to remove the extra thumb on her right hand anytime soon.
Kaitlyn, whose mother is June Shannon’s 18-year-old daughter Anna “Chickadee”, was born on July 26 and shortly after the bone abnormality was detected.
But it has been revealed that doctors do not want to operate on the two-month-old infant, as they would rather wait until her digits are fully developed.
Kaitlyn, whose mother is June Shannon’s 18-year-old daughter Anna “Chickadee”, was born on July 26
Talking about the possibility of her grandchild having her extra thumb amputated, 33-year-old June Shannon, from McIntyre Georgia, told RadarOnline.com that corrective surgery has been delayed until a later date.
“The doctor doesn’t want to do anything right now because they don’t know the full function of the other thumb or if they’re both connected,” she said.
“They just have to wait and see. They don’t want to do it too early, if they cut one off the other could have paralysis or it could make the other fingers not work, so they don’t want to make any rash decisions.”
Reports surfaced shortly after Kaitlyn’s birth that June Shannon had made inappropriate comments about the physical abnormality, which she denied.
Talking about her first grandchild, the mother-of-four exclaimed: “She’s just special; I would never make fun of her.
“That is not right. It makes her more unique and special to us. We don’t even pay attention to it. We don’t make a big deal about it.”
June Shannon and her family shot to fame on TLC’S Toddlers & Tiaras.
They currently star in the spin-off series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, with the season finale set to air this Wednesday.
Caleb Clark, 19, from Griffin, Georgia, previously came forward as Kaitlyn’s father. He claimed he fathered the child after dating Anna Shannon for two years during high school.
June Shannon added that her grandchild “may or may not ever” get surgery to remove the double thumbs and they will wait for a while before returning to hospital.

June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo’s mother, attempted to give her first daughter, Anna “Chickadee”, away for adoption after becoming a parent at 15, it was claimed today.
The 33-year-old reality star from McIntyre, Georgia, now a mother-of-four, first asked relatives if they would take the baby while pregnant, sister-in-law Janice Shannon has apparently said.
June Shannon is said to have then “abandoned” Anna, then seven, at the home of her mother, Sandra Hale, in order to “move into a trailer with a boyfriend”.
According to the National Enquirer, Janice Shannon, who was married to June’s late brother, Jimmy, had been prepared to take Anna, but June did not want to lose her parental rights so the adoption failed to take place.
June Shannon attempted to give her first daughter, Anna Chickadee, away for adoption after becoming a parent at 15
The magazine says that child welfare officers eventually gave custody of Anna to Sandra Hale, and it was only this year that the teen moved back in with her mother.
But the current arrangement is just for the cameras, it claims.
A source told the title: “Anna lived with Sandra until earlier this year, when June bribed her with $500 a month to move back in with the family and be on the TV show.
“They thought that Anna’s illegitimate teenage pregnancy would make for good story lines for the show.”
Anna is now a teenage mother herself, to two-month-old Kaitlyn, who was born with an extra thumb on one hand.
She is no longer in a relationship with the baby’s father, Caleb Clark, 19, who she dated for two years.
Caleb Clark says he is now fighting to gain access to Kaitlyn and told the tabloid that he wants to get the child “out of that house and away from that family”, but is unable to take action because Anna apparently refuses to let him take a paternity test.
Caleb Clark told the Enquirer: “Anna was in her grandmother’s custody, but she was still desperate to get away from June officially. June was a lousy mother to Anna.”
He insisted that the happy cohesive family that appears on television is a far cry from reality.
“You can see it,” he continued.
“Anna still resents June and stands apart from the rest of the family. When the cameras are turned off, Anna doesn’t have much to do with any of them.”
Caleb Clark told the tabloid that he had every intention of marrying Anna until she admitted that she had cheated on him.
Anna, who does not have a relationship with her own father, ex-con David Dunn, supposedly sent Caleb Clark an email when she discovered she was pregnant.
It apparently read: “I kinda had sex with someone the week before we did, but I trusted him to wear a condom, but I don’t think he did, and that’s what scares me.”

Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, is seen showing off her “Bingo face” in a clip from tomorrow’s episode of the family’s TLC reality show.
June Shannon reveals herself to be an ardent fan of the game, which she insists “is a sport”, in the next installment of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
The new clip sees her steal the limelight from her pageant queen daughter Alana Thompson, six, aka Honey Boo Boo, when she reveals that her short-sightedness causes her to squint during games.

She tells the camera: “Bingo and couponing is my all time favorite sport, but playing Bingo I have to be more intense because my eyesight isn’t that good.
“I have to squint a lot. I guess that’s like my Bingo face.”
The mother-of-four, 32, who recently became a grandmother, is seen taking daughters Anna “Chikadee”, 17, “Chubbs” (aka Jessica), 15, Lauryn “Pumpkin”, 12, and Alana to a local Bingo hall.
“Bingo is a sport. It’s a way to calm me down and relax,” June Shannon says.
“They say it’s an old person’s sport, but I don’t think so. I think it’s very fun. I’ve been doing it since I was ten years old.”
She adds that her goal is to win money to fund Alana Thompson’s pageant career, and admits as much to a fellow player.
“I’m looking to win the big jackpot at the end,” she says.
“$1,000 for the pageant next week.”
It appears to be Honey Boo Boo’s first time at Bingo, but being just six years old, she fails to grasp the concept – despite efforts from her mother and sisters to explain how the game works.
Instead, she is more entertained by the marker pens provided, doodling smiley faces on napkins instead of marking off the numbers called.
The same episode, which will air tomorrow, includes a trip to the beauty salon, tips from a local pageant queen and Honey Boo Boo’ seventh birthday bash.

Toddlers & Tiaras star Honey Boo Boo, a second grader from McIntyre Georgia, is in high demand after her TLC reality show drew more viewers than vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan’s speech at the Republican National Convention.
Yesterday the seven-year-old pageant queen learned the heavy price that comes with fame as she busily signed head shots at a local amusement arcade before rushing off to a TLC press junket.
In an interview with The Associated Press this week, Alana Thompson said that filming the show was fun because she got to do things she doesn’t always get to do, like going to a water park.
And sure enough, the Here Comes Honey Boo star managed to squeeze in a little bit of me time at the local amusement arcade The Fun Zone in Milledgeville.

After a quick game of PacMan, followed by what looked like a quick telling off from mother June Shannon, the canny kid and her bagful of tokens headed straight to the Skee Ball machine.
The bowling game, known by arcade aficionados to pay out the most tickets, delivered, and Alana Thompson, known for her outrageous catchphrases “a dolla makes me holla!” and “you better redneckognize!”, could not contain her delight.
But there was little time to cash in her tickets, as the mother and daughter were spotted not much later leaving home with wet hair and Honey Boo Boo changed into a pink t-shirt with the words “We Dream” with a pair of denim shorts and sparkly high heeled shoes.
Critics have accused the Thompson family of everything from child exploitation to glamorizing redneck stereotypes.
But June Shannon has said: “Life is all about experiences and this is one of the experiences on the journey of life, and if it continues, fine, and if it doesn’t, then we move on to be the same people we were before the show even started.”
The season finale of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo airs Wednesday, September 26 on TLC.

“Honey Boo Boo had the idea of making a lemonade stand to save money for the pageants.
“Pageants a big investment. I raise four kids and I’m able to do pageants as I budget. Honestly, we budget and I try to save money any way I can,” said June Shannon.

“The secret is a lot of sugar and a lot of lemon juice. The lemonade has got a good five pounds of sugar and like 2 gallons of lemon juice,” she said.

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner apparently hates reality TV behemoth Honey Boo Boo and her mother June Shannon.
Kris Jenner, 56, is said to be concerned that the Thompsons are drawing attention away from the K-Dash juggernaut.
But surprisingly, Kris Jenner is also said to have concerns that June Shannon is exploiting her 7-year-old to make money.
Kris Jenner apparently hates reality TV behemoth Honey Boo Boo and her mother June Shannon
“To say Kris is not a fan of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is an understatement,” a source told Radar Online.
“She thinks the Thompsons are classless, unlike her family and can’t understand why America is so fascinated by them.
“The show has become bigger than Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Kris is starting to feel threatened by its success.
“Kris especially has a strong dislike for June, claiming the beauty pageant world is vile and that June is a bad mom for <<exploiting>> Alana in that way.
“Kris thinks it’s all a ploy to make money, and says she sees through it and thinks it is absolutely disgusting.
“Although it’s like pot calling the kettle black – you could say that Kris does exactly the same with her family,” the source added.
