Honey Boo Boo’s visit to New York got even better with a trip to the ice cream truck with mother June Shannon on Thursday.
The 7-year-old reality star pondered the mouth-watering selections pasted on the side of the truck for some time.
Finally Honey Boo Boo chose a double strawberry soft serve twirl on a wafer cone with sprinkles.
It definitely seemed way too much for one little girl to eat by herself.
In fact, she appeared to have difficulty even holding the cone in her little hand.

But Honey Boo Boo made her cool treat shrink by the second.
Her mother June Shannon, 33, who recently dropped a whopping 115 lbs, followed close behind and even enjoyed a treat of her own – just one day after showing off her slimmer new figure in a mostly black ensemble with gem-collared top.
June Shannon’s ice cream was a single soft serve cone with sprinkles and definitely not good for the diet especially if she means to keep the weight off.
However, judging by how she lost the weight it might just come back anyway.
June Shannon showed off her slimmer figure and her revamped blonde hairdo on a stroll with daughter Honey Boo Boo in New York.
It seems that June Shannon doesn’t want to admit her ongoing makeover was intentional.
“No, I have not felt no pressure to change,” Mama June told the Huffington Post.
“I was blond about six years ago and I wanted to go back blond, so I went back blond and I loved it.
“I have lost 115 pounds, but that’s because I’m on the go. We love fried food, but I lost that weight because I’m more active doing things.”

While not dissimilar from her appearance on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show, the look was a striking contrast to her red carpet appearance.
Last month, June Shannon, a mother-of-four, revealed that she had lost more than 100 lbs over the past two years as a result of her hectic TV schedule.
June Shannon appeared to have had a style revelation for the GLAAD Media Awards, gliding down the red carpet in a black maxi dress with subtle make-up, manicured nails and coiffed blonde, curly hair.

GMA’s Amy Robach visited the reality stars to talk about their newfound fame.
She sat down with Honey Boo Boo and her mother June Shannon for a no-holds-barred interview.
But much of the interview was interrupted by Honey Boo Boo, who took the opportunity to share some of her favorite punchlines with viewers.

But when June Shannon did get a word in, she opened up about parenting and her future plans.

June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo’s mother, showed off her 100 lb weight-loss at the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday night.
June Shannon, 33, arrived at the New York event wearing a figure-flattering black dress, topped with sparkling diamante jewelry.
The reality star completed the svelte and sleek red carpet look with subtle make-up, manicured nails and blonde, curly hair.
Last month, June Shannon revealed that she had lost more than 100 lbs over the past two years as a result of her hectic TV schedule.
She said that she tipped the scales at 365 lbs before she started filming her TLC series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and at the beginning of this year she weighed a lighter 263 lbs.
Detailing her weight-loss secrets June Shannon told TMZ: “With the show I’ve been more active. They have me running around and going different places… I guess it’s paying off.
“I haven’t done any surgeries… no diet pills… never went to the gym.”

A recent episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo also showed how June Shannon’s Thanksgiving menu featured 15 cans of vegetables, 12 cans of cranberry sauce and a large turkey coated with a gallon of butter.
“Just like all my other recipes, butter and sugar makes everything taste better,” Mama June exclaimed as she prepared the gut-busting feast.
However, recently June Shannon has been trying to shake up her appearance.
While she had greying curls pulled back off her face in previous episodes, June Shannon appeared on screen in January with a new shoulder-length blonde hairdo.

When Honey Boo Boo, aka Alana Thompson, was banned from flogging girl scout cookies on her massively popular Facebook page by the scout organization itself, it seemed her sweet shop days were over.
Honey Boo Boo was selling the cookies online to the 701,000 plus fans who’ve liked her page but this was deemed unfair to the girls who go door-to-door trying to offload the treats.
But the 7-year-old – who isn’t even a scout – has gumption and decided to help her local Georgia Troop sell cookies at the Milledgeville Mall in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Honey Boo Boo’s mother June Shannon said: “If I can raise more money for a troop, whoever they are, especially in an area where they don’t get a lot of money, and parents can’t afford to buy a ton of cookies, why wouldn’t I help?”
And she got quite the support act in the form of father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, sisters Jessica “Chubs”, Lauryn “Pumpkin” and Anna “Chickadee” along with baby Kaitlyn.
Alana Thompson, displaying her saleswoman skills, made a deal with shoppers that if they purchase five boxes of cookies from the troop she would pose for a picture with them.
The trouble starting getting cooked up when Honey Boo Boo started selling the snacks on her Facebook page for a friend.
After receiving more than 450 requests for the delicious snacks, the page posted a photo showing the cookies in their boxes and then another as they were about to be shipped.
But the girl scouts association soon put a stop to the youngster’s entrepreneurial ways.
Honey Boo Boo was banned from flogging girl scout cookies on her massively popular Facebook page by the scout organization itself
According to TMZ, a rep for GSUSA in Georgia said they contacted Honey Boo Boo’s site administrator and explained that selling the cookies online was not allowed.
The rep said Honey Boo Boo was defeating the whole purpose of selling the cookies, which was to teach girls a range of lessons including goal setting and people skills.
The ad has now been taken down but the sales already made will be counted, TMZ reported.
The colorful poster boasted a wide range of cookies including Do-si-dos, peanut butter sandwiches, trefoils, shortbreads, Samoas, caramel DeLites, Savannah smiles. peanut butter patties, tagalings and thin mints.
The boxes were priced at $3.50 plus shipping, and the Thompson clan were even throwing in a signed photo.
The Facebook site was inundated with fan requests for cookies, with many asking how they could get more.
Victoria Carter wrote: “You’ll are doing a good thing supporting the girl scouts! I was a scout for eight years and very well remember hauling those cookies over hill and dell delivering them myself.”
But some users agreed that flogging the cookies through a website was not in the spirit of girl scouting.
Barbara Swank wrote on the Facebook page: “This is not at all in the spirit of Girl Scouting. So sad for this little girl. She isnt learming anything from tne program (sic).”
Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson was seen holding onto her dad Michael, known as Sugar Bear, as he returned to their Georgia home after spending over a week in hospital.
Sugar Bear was rushed to the hospital after suffering chest and stomach pains and was diagnosed with pancreatitis.
Despite the TLC network’s cameras rolling Honey Boo Boo was completely focused on her sick father as he arrived home.
Honey Boo Boo, 7, tenderly guided her dad up the stars and gave him a big hug as he crossed the threshold.
Clearly, still struggling with his illness, Sugar Bear stayed in his pajamas and wrapped a large blanket around his shoulders.
Making sure to stay close was Honey Boo Boo’s mother June Shannon.
June Shannon has been updating fans on her partner’s condition via their official Facebook.
Sugar Bear was rushed to the hospital after suffering chest and stomach pains and was diagnosed with pancreatitis
Just prior to his release, June Shannon thanked fans for their support: “Another update on Sugar Bear – it’s a great one – thanks to all the prays and thoughts Sugar Bear is going to be released [he] will be so glad to be going back home.
“Hope we are not back for a while, hospitals are very draining.”
And no wonder, Sugar Bear had himself moved from the first hospital he was admitted to, and spent a night in Intensive Care, and after not feeling like he was “was getting the best treatment possible” he checked into a new hospital where it was revealed he was also suffering from pneumonia.
It has already been a tough few months for Honey Boo Boo’s father after numerous health complaints.
Following a quad bike accident Sugar Bear’s foot got an infection landing him in the hospital in September.
Paramedics had to be called to the home when Sugar Bear fell ill during the family’s Christmas toy drive, after suffering from high blood pressure.
Honey Boo Boo’s reality show is set to take over the world as the beauty pageant queen and her colorful family have their show broadcast internationally, it was announced today.
Honey Boo Boo, aka Alana Thompson, has become famous in the US for her TLC series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo features the antics of the charming 7-year-old and her mom June Shannon, dad Sugar Bear, three older sisters and gay Uncle Poodle at the family home in McIntyre, Georgia.
The family has already been popular with viewers in Eastern Europe, leading the TV network to broaden the show’s reach.
In the next few months, Honey Boo Boo will appear on screens in Australia, the Netherlands, Italy and Latin America.
Honey Boo Boo’s reality show is set to take over the world as the beauty pageant queen and her colorful family have their show broadcast internationally
Luis Silberwasser, executive VP at Discovery Networks International, told the New York Post: “In Poland, where it just started airing, it’s already No. 3 in terms of viewers.
“This is a slice of Americana – not typical America, but of a particular family in the South, and the international audience knows that there are many facets to American lives.”
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo follows beauty pageant enthusiast Alana Thompson taking part in contests but also the family’s life in general including one disastrous Thanksgiving dinner, quad bike rides and her sisters bobbing for pig’s feet at the Redneck Games.
However, Honey Boo Boo’s unique catchphrases – including “a dolla’ makes me holla” and “you’d better redneck-ognize” – might prove a challenge for foreign viewers.
Discovery said that it is working on ways to overcome the lingo that might be lost in translation – as the show already subtitles for English-speaking audiences. Other options include dubbing voiceovers and developing a more in-depth glossary of terms.
June Shannon has revealed that she’s lost more than 100 lbs in the past two years without dieting or hitting the gym.
Honey Boo Boo’s mother said that she tipped the scales at 365 lbs back in January 2011 and now she weighs a lighter 263 lbs.
Revealing her weight-loss secrets June Shannon, a 33-year-old mother-of-four, told TMZ: “With the show I’ve been more active. They have me running around and going different places… I guess it’s paying off.”
“I haven’t done any surgeries… no diet pills… never went to the gym,” she insisted.
June Shannon certainly hasn’t changed her eating habits.

However, recently June Shannon has been trying to shake up her appearance.
While she had greying curls pulled back off her face in previous episodes, June Shannon appeared on screen last month with a new shoulder-length blonde hairdo.
She also sported a tanned complexion, completing the transformation.
One imagines that the makeover was inspired by the family’s newfound fame – as June Shannon is photographed wherever she goes.
June Shannon returns to screens on Sunday at 8 p.m. with another holiday special titled A Very Boo Christmas.
During the installment June Shannon takes her family to the flea market to find Christmas deals and also teaches them the joy of re-gifting.
Honey Boo Boo and her extended family were pictured ignoring basic guidelines as they piled en masse onto the back of a moving quad bike in Georgia.
The four children sat wherever they could find a spot astride the bonnet and back of the small truck, driven by father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.
They seemed unconcerned by any worries they might fall or be injured, going without helmets.
With two girls sat in front of him Sugar Bear could barely see where he was going, but continued to drive.
At least the girls’ mother Mama June decided to sit out the fun. With her bulky frame the quad bike would have been seriously overloaded.
Instead she watched from the sidelines, a towel wrapped around her wet hair.

Thankfully her daughter Anna “Chickadee”, 18, also skipped the ride, sensibly deciding to stay on firm land with her infant daughter Kaitlyn.
Surprisingly Honey Boo Boo later dug out a pink unicorn helmet to protect her hair as she enjoyed the more sedate activity of riding a bike.
Teamed with her bright pink boots and pale pink Major Attitude T-shirt there was no mistaking Honey Boo Boo’s favorite color.
While Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been criticized for exploiting the “redneck” family, June Shannon matriarch recently revealed that it is building her daughters a financially secure future.
June Shannon has sensibly divided the estimated $15,000 to $20,000 episode fee into equal trust funds for her four daughters and granddaughter.
When Honey Boo Boo and her sisters Lauryn, 12, Jessica, 15, Anna, 18, and Anna’s daughter Kaitlyn turn 21 they will receive a sizeable amount of money.
Only if they need money for their education, or healthcare, can the girls access the money before then.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, rustled up a Thanksgiving feast for the family during the last episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show.
June Shannon’s menu featured 15 cans of vegetables, 12 cans of cranberry sauce and a large turkey coated with a gallon of butter.
Talking about the generous helping of cranberry jelly – which she sprinkled with one pound of sugar – June Shannon told viewers: “They get their fruit, plus they don’t get a [urinary tract] infection.”
The mother-of-four added: “I’m not no Martha Stewart or Betty Crocker or nothing like that. It’s going to be what it is and hopefully something turns out right.
“Just like all my other recipes, butter and sugar makes everything taste better.”
Instead of using fresh goods June Shannon said she bought everything, including the vegetables, in cans.
She also admitted that she doesn’t follow recipes and often throws ingredients together to create a “multi-meal”.
Despite her unconventional methods, her family appeared to enjoy her culinary creations.
“Cranberry jelly is the most perfect food. It’s just the perfect color.
“Can shape food is the most perfect food for eating. This is the food of the gods,” Honey Boo Boo explained.

After preparing the Thanksgiving meal June Shannon sat down to enjoy the spread with her family, wearing a turkey-shaped headdress.
The clan sat outdoors as they ate, enjoying the fall sunshine.
In another scene during the one hour holiday special, Honey Boo Boo seemed overjoyed as she unveiled a scarecrow version of her larger-than-life mother.
Honey Boo Boo, 7, proudly presented “Junecrow” complete with a “blonde wig, big head, vajiggle jaggle [and a] forklift foot”.
She even dressed the towering hay bale design in one of June Shannon’s outfits.
Honey Boo Boo and her three teenage sisters told viewers that “it’s got to have four tummies and big old thighs”.
However, when June Shannon saw the finished creation she insisted that it didn’t look anything like her.
In an attempt to make her feel better about herself her partner of 8 years, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, added: “It looks beautiful.”
Later in the show the family is seen visiting a local farm in McIntyre, Georgia.
Honey Boo Boo was shown how to milk cows and goats as her mother June Shannon watched smiling.
“It tastes like regular milk,” Honey Boo Boo said as she enjoyed the fruits of her labor.
Talking about her connection with animals she said that people often refer to her as “Dr. Boolittle”.
Back at home June Shannon decided to test the family on their knowledge of holiday traditions and the history behind Thanksgiving. It turned out to be a challenge for everyone.
June Shannon’s oldest daughter, Anna, declared: “Christopher Columbus went to the New World in 1930-something and that’s where he met Pocahontas.”
And when asked: “What do you know about the first Thanksgiving?”, Honey Boo Boo replied: “Turkeys” before adding: “The Indians lost everything and just got a crappy meal – and casinos.”
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo returns with a clips special on February 10, followed by a Christmas special on February 17, both at 8:00 p.m. EST on TLC.
June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo’s mother, was long overdue for glamorous makeover considering her newfound celebrity.
Mama June, 33, finally submitted to her having her already grey curls dyed blonde, and had a fake tan and make up applied for the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo series of HOLLAday Specials.
June Shannon, who had greying curls pulled back off her face in previous episodes, debuts the new blonde hairdo in a preview clip, with straightened, shoulder-length locks.
To celebrate her makeover, done with the help of her three daughters her partner Mike Thompson, aka Sugar Bear – decided to buy his beloved a white dress famed by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot.
But while Mike Thompson, dressed as a bear, confessed that the outfit turned him into a “horny bear”, their daughters weren’t so complimentary.
With white arms, a brown back and patches of red too, their brood said that she resembled “Neapolitan ice cream” thanks to some dodgy fake tan application.
But even with an uneven complexion, Mama June’s appearance was a world away from her usual scraped-back grey curls.
However, June Shannon eventually decided that the outfit was “too revealing” and opted for a more Halloween-friendly choice of an Egyptian Mummy.
In the same show, the mother of four also revealed something else – her fear of mayonnaise.
Though she visibly shudders at the mention of the condiment, June Shannon admits that she will eat potato salad or tuna salad, as long as she has not witnessed it being prepared.
“If I watch somebody make it, I can’t [eat] it,” she says.
“The reason why is because when I was growing up, the babysitter I had [would make] mayonnaise sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack… I can’t talk about it, this is making my flesh crawl!”
Sugar Bear decided to buy his beloved June Shannon a white dress famed by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot
In a bid to help their mother conquer her fear, the four girls decide to take action, by attempting to explain how ridiculous she is being.
16-year-old Jessica, also known to the family as “Chubbs”, says: “I think it’s stupid that you’re scared of mayonnaise, Mama, I mean seriously, it’s mayonnaise, it’s white and it’s mayonnaise. C’mon, that’s like ketchup but it’s just white.”
When asked why she doesn’t eat mayonnaise, Jessica says that it is because she is a vegetarian, sparking ridicule from the whole family.
Mama June asks: “When did you become a damn vegetarian?”
Lauryn, aka “Pumpkin”, 13, adds: “Marannaise does not have meat in it.”
The pair then embark on a bizarre argument, that doesn’t involve Jessica at all, in which they both seem to be making the same case.
It ends with Pumpkin insisting that “you could just make a marannaise sammich”, causing Mama June to shudder, and Pumpkin to then do an uncanny imitation.
With the family discussion ending in failure, 7-year-old Honey Boo Boo, Jessica and eldest sister Anna “Chickadee”, 17, decide to present Mama June with a large bowl of mayonnaise.
“Coming from the kitchen with the mayonnaise to the dining room, you could feel the tension in there,” Jessica reveals.
As the girls goad their mother with exclamations of, “Look, it’s so yummy!” and “It jiggles, it’s pretty!” June Shannon gets increasingly distressed.
“My anxiety levels is up like beyond out the roof,” she says.
“I mean like my chest is real tight, my throat feels like its gonna close up… Y’all gotta get that outta there, c’mon now… I’m gonna go into full panic ******* attack… Y’all gotta get it outta here FOR REAL!”
She failed to find much sympathy from Honey Boo Boo, who recalls afterwards: “Mama was turning white, just like mayonnaise.”
The first episode in the HOLLAday Specials sees the family prepare for Halloween. According to a précis of the episode from TLC, a pumpkin carving incident ends with Uncle Poodle stuck inside a one of the gourds and the family gets hopelessly lost in a corn maze.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, has revealed she won’t be upgrading her modest home for a luxury pad any time soon – as she is not profiting from reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
Instead the self-proclaimed “redneck” has divided the estimated $15,000 to $20,000 episode fee into equal trust funds for her four daughters and granddaughter.
“I want my kids to look back and say, <<Mama played it smart. Not like those other reality TV people>>,” she told website TMZ.
And Mama June, as she is known, has ensured she won’t be tempted to take the money for herself by asking TLC to pay it straight into the trust funds.
“TLC puts the money into the girls’ trust accounts for me and then I get an email telling me how much everyone gets,” she explained.
“You’re never gonna see me drive a Range Rover or a Mercedes. I’ll drive one if someone else pays for it. Never gonna live above my means.”

Her far-sightedness means that when 7-year-old Honey Boo Boo, aka Alana Thompson, and her sisters Lauryn, 12, Jessica, 15, Anna, 18, and Anna’s daughter Kaitlyn turn 21 they will receive a sizeable amount of money.
Only if they need money for their education, or healthcare, can the girls access the money before then.
Full time mother June Shannon, who is known for her love of extreme couponing, explained that she and her partner live off his salary as a contractor.
The family has made one large purchase since their new found fame – a second hand, 7-year-old Ford Expedition.
Honey Boo Boo, the 7-year-old beauty queen, whose real name is Alana Thompson, got a head start on Christmas as her family shopped at the Smiley’s Flea Market and Yard Sale in their home town of Macon, Georgia on Saturday.
As her family shopped, Honey Boo Boo rode around on her “new” pink and blue training bike that her father and fellow Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson bought for her.
Honey Boo Boo, who is known for her wild costumes as that she wears for her beauty pageants, took an especially festive tone with her outfit, pairing bright green extensions with her red plaid dress over black leggings and sparkly Uggs.
Last week, Alana Thompson was named by veteran television journalist Barbara Walters as one of her most fascinating people of the year, a title also shared by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, teen pop sensation One Direction and the scandalous Prince Harry.
Proud of their new-found celebrity and fresh of a recent media tour of Los Angeles, construction worker Sugar Bear wore a Los Angeles Fire Department souvenir t-shirt while “Mama June” Shannon strutted her stuff in a black t-shirt with peacock feathers, a zip-up blue hoodie and black sweats.

When she wasn’t showing off her new bike, Honey Boo Boo also proudly pushed along her newborn three-thumbed niece, Kaitlyn.
The rest of the brood, including Honey Boo Boo’s sisters Anna, Jessica and Lauryn, also tagged along, though whether any of them left with gifts is a mystery as Alana hogged the attention all afternoon.
The family famously celebrates the holiday in their neighborhood by hosting a toy drive and a Santa’s workshop at their home.
In one episode from the first season of the show, Sugar Bear wore a Father Christmas suit as neighbors came to make their holiday wishes and take photographs.
This year, fans can expect the family to have a memorable holiday after the TLC Network, which airs the show in America, ordered a special Christmas episode from its breakout star.
During the Christmas special, which airs on February 17, Honey Boo Boo explains why the mother-daughter-duo will be on Santa Claus’ “nice” list this year.

During the Christmas special, which airs on February 17, Mama June also joins in and explains why the mother-daughter-duo will be on Santa Claus’ “nice” list this year.
The precocious youngster says in a TLC preview: “The worst Christmas gift I ever got was my Barbie car that I had to take back because it was too small.”
Meanwhile, her favorite gift is something she treasures every day.
“My best Christmas present was my tent that goes over my bed,” she says.
June Shannon’s top gift was just as versatile.
She reveals: “The best Christmas gift I got was a year ago when I got my crock pot, ’cause we were able to put meals in there and then just forgot about it, come back like eight hours later and it would be ready.”
June Shannon, a mother of four, can’t remember the worst gift she was given, but recalls a $5 gift card for Walmart somewhere along the way.
“What are you gunna by nowadays with $5? I mean come on now,” she scolds.

On whether the pair will be on Santa’s naughty or nice list, both say they’ll definitely be placed in the “nice” category.
June Shannon said: “I think I’m going to be on Santa’s nice list this year. We give a lot back to our community and that, and I think we get a few extra brownie points because Sugar Bear is Santa’s little helper.”
Without missing a beat, Honey Boo Boo agreed.
“Nice list,” she said.
“My daddy’s always Santa Claus, so…”
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Halloween special airs on TLC January 6th, the Thanksgiving special on January 13th, the Clip Show on February 10th and the Christmas special on February 17th.

Barbara Walters, 83, has been spellbound by the antics of the spoiled 7-year-old beauty queen Honey Boo Boo, whose real name is Alana Thompson.
The veteran TV journalist told Us Magazine the reason the TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is a hit as it exposes the touching bond she has with her mother June Shannon.
She said: “It’s a love story. It’s a very sweet, loving story.
“A lot of people will say, <<For heaven’s sake, this is ridiculous, this is a child at 5 or 6 years old entering beauty contests>>.
“But the relationship between Alana and her mother – that’s the story, the two of them. It’s very touching.”
And Barbara Walters claims beneath the bluster, the show is actually full of demonstrations of old-fashioned family values.
She said: “Honey Boo Boo is not an obnoxious little girl. She’s sweet and loving with her mother and loving with her sisters [Jessica, Lauryn and Anna].
“And now Anna has a new baby, and the baby has [three] thumbs – but so what? It’ll make you smile.”

Ben Affleck, One Direction and 50 Shades of Grey writer E.L. James have also been named among the Ten Most Fascinating People of 2012.
The Argo director, British boyband and literary sensation have made the ranks this year for Barbara Walters’ annual television special.
The veteran newswoman revealed Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas also made the cut.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton makes the list for a second time; and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will make his debut.
Three others on the list have yet to be announced.
Ben Affleck has had a banner year, now tipped for an Oscar for his critically-acclaimed CIA drama Argo, in which he stars and directs.
One Direction has meanwhile conquered the US music charts after its members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan emerged a public favorite after finishing third on The X Factor UK in 2010, while E.L. James has made similar feats in the literary world with her erotic novel.
The most fascinating person of 2012 will be named during Barbara Walters’ December television special, which typically includes sit-down interviews with those on the list.
Hillary Clinton was previously named in 1993 during her tenure as First Lady of the United States.
Late Apple boss Steve Jobs was number one on the list last year, preceded by shamed former CIA boss General David Patraeus in 2010.
First Lady Michelle Obama was number one in 2009, preceded by President Barack Obama.
Speaking on The View on Monday, Barbara Walters said 2012 list was compiled of people “very much in the news” this year.
She also added there would be “no criminals” on the list.
Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of the Year is scheduled to air December 12th on ABC network.
Honey Boo Boo’s cousin Tony Lindsey was arrested for jumping in the path of traffic on a freeway possibly in a gorilla suit.
TMZ are reporting that Tony Lindsey was part of a group wreaking havoc on a Georgia highway (because one of them was in an ape suit) when he got arrested earlier this month.
He is the cousin of the seven-year-old TV star, real name Alana Thompson.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Deputy Joe Rozier says he was driving along Highway 20 around 11 p.m. when he noticed someone carrying out a potentially fatal jape.
“I observed a white male dressed in a gorilla suit acting as if he was going to jump into my lane of travel. I swerved into the left lane to avoid an accident with the person.”

Joe Rozier reports he immediately stopped the car, whipped out his flashlight and went searching for answers and “observed several white males run up the embankment and into the woods”.
He says he shouted at the group that he was going to release his dog after the pranksters when someone yelled back: “You don’t have to do that, we’re coming back.”
The officer says he eventually made contact with five adults and two children without a suit.
Eventually, Joe Rozier says they “fessed up to stashing the suit in the woods”.
After recovering the suit, Deputy Joe Rozier says he arrested all of the adults for reckless conduct and booked them all into the local jail.
The gorilla suit was taken into evidence.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show has been branded by Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine as the “worst thing that’s ever happened” to civilization.
Adam Levine has slammed the reality series – which follows 7-year-old beauty pageant contestant Alana Thompson (aka Honey Boo Boo) and her family – for causing “decay” to society and insists its high viewing figures do not mean it has anything important to offer.
He told GQ magazine: “Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the decay of Western civilization.
“Just because so many people watch the show doesn’t mean it’s good.
“So many people witness atrocities and can’t take their eyes away from them, but that doesn’t mean they’re good. That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened!”

Adam Levine also slammed Honey Boo Boo’s parents, June Shannon and Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.
He blasted the “despicable” parenting shown in the programme during his expletive-filled rant.
Adam Levine said: “It’s complete f***ing ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. F**k those people.
“You can put that in the magazine: F**k those idiots. They’re just the worst. Sorry, I’m so sensitive to that – like, I don’t know, man, it’s upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, <<F**K THOSE PEOPLE>>.”
Artist Jason Mecier spent 50 hours and used 25 lbs of garbage to create a larger-than-life portrait of Honey Boo Boo.
The San Francisco-based artist, who has previously made junk portraits of Donald Trump, Andy Warhol, and Phyllis Diller, used the seven-year-old superstar as inspiration for his latest project.
Utilizing her trademark “sketti”, as well as butter, cheese balls, chicken nuggets and the infamous Go-Go Juice that kept her energetic while starring on Toddlers & Tiaras, Jason Mecier re-imagined her as a pile of garbage.
Jason Mecier said: “I used Red Bulls, Mountain Dew, two cans of hair spray, three tiaras, make-up, mascara, fake eyelashes, coupons, a pink Snuggy box, and all sorts of things that make Honey Boo Boo so unique.
“But don’t worry no roadkill was injured during the making of this portrait!” he joked, making reference to the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo family that often cook and eat roadkill animals found near their home in McIntyre, Georgia.

Hardly any pieces in Jason Mecier’s sculpture are coincidental.
For example, Honey Boo Boo, whose real name is Alana Thompson, recently got a pet chicken and named it Nugget.
Her mother, Mama June (June Shannon), wrote on her daughters official Facebook page: “[H]er and nugget have became very attached this weekend and it in the house but has a outside house too but alana refuses to let her sleep outside lol she she sleeps inside at night in her inside cage.”
Honey Boo Boo was also recently immortalized in cartoon form, in a garish new comic book titled 15 Minutes.
The colorful 23-page magazine charts Honey Boo Boo’s meteoric rise to fame over the past 11 months, from her TV debut in Toddlers and Tiara’s to landing her very own reality show.
Explaining his inspiration, writer and illustrator Michael Troy said: “Andy Warhol’s quote about 15 minutes of fame is one of my favorites and as a pop culture junkie I jumped at the chance to put my spin on spoon fed America’s latest reality obsession.”

Kris Jenner, Rosie O’Donnell and Anderson Cooper also have cameo roles in the short book.
In one of his strips Michael Troy asks readers “What is fame?”, responding with a quote from poet Lord Byron that “it is the thirst of youth”.

U.S. publishers Bluewater Productions, say the magazine examines the “the underbelly of fame”.
Its publisher Darren G. Davis explained that people shouldn’t take the magazine too seriously.
He said: “Clearly this one was meant to be fun for people and not to educate society.
“There are some of these biographies we do for strictly the entertainment value.”
Bluewater’s comics have previously featured stars such as One Direction, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato.
Its new series 15 Minutes will focus on personalities from the realms of reality TV, and it hints that Kim Kardashian, and characters from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Jersey Shore could possibly star in future issues.
It isn’t the first time Honey Boo Boo has been imagined in cartoon form.
Last month she starred in an episode of the animated sitcom South Park, along with her mother June Shannon.
The Honey Boo Boo comic is available in print for $3.99, while a digital version is priced at $1.99.
Honey Boo Boo is set to ruffle some feathers with her new animal pal as she recently got a pet chicken.
The seven-year-old pageant child and TV star has christened the bird Nugget, and the pair are apparently inseparable, spending lots of their time cooped up together.
Honey Boo Boo’s mother June Shannon updated the youngster’s fans on Facebook and revealed that her daughter is very concerned with Nugget’s welfare.
June Shannon wrote: “Meet Alanas new pet NUGGET her pet chicken yes I said chicken her and nugget have became very attached this weekend.”
She went on to say that the chicken is “in the house but has a outside house too but alana refuses to let her sleep outside”.
June Shannon added that her precocious daughter ensures Nugget “sleeps inside at night in her inside cage”.

June Shannon shared a photo of Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, proudly showing off the bird.
Sporting a Hello Kitty T-shirt, the young star clutches little Nugget to her chest as she grins for the camera in front of her cage.
The mother and daughter duo were spending the day reading Honey Boo Boo’s fan mail and June Shannon also snapped photos of her daughter plucking letters and holding them up as a token of thanks.
In an August episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Alana Thompson was seen having a great time with her pet pig Glitzy, popping a tiara on her.
So the seven-year-old was unsurprisingly distraught when she had to send back the pig to its breeder as it became too much work for the family to take care of.
However, it seems Honey Boo Boo is just as smitten with her new feathered friend, who may feature on her hit show when it returns for a second season.
