Jimmy Fallon Chips Front Tooth While Treating Injured Finger
Jimmy Fllon took to Instagram on August 21 to share his latest painful-looking mishap.
The Tonight Show host had another injury in late June, when he caught his ring on a desk countertop and nearly tore off his finger.
The new injury is actually related to the old one.
Jimmy Fallon, 40, wrote on Instagram: “Chipped front tooth trying to open tube of scar tissue repair gel for recovering finger injury.
“Thank you Dr. Jobe DDS! #BestSummerEver Brand new Tonight Show tonight!”
In July, Jimmy Fallon shared that his horrifying hand injury required a six-hour surgery and a 10-day stay in the ICU.
“Apparently, the odds aren’t great and usually they just cut your finger off,” Jimmy Fallon told the Tonight Show audience.
He added: “I won’t get feeling back for eight weeks.”
Due to the massive success of his first year taking over the Tonight Show, NBC announced last week that Jimmy Fallon’s hosting contract has been extended for six more years.
