New reports surfaced alleging Kim Kardashian “exaggerated her fertility for the sake of her career”.
The news could cause “problems” for Kim Kardashian in her forthcoming divorce trial from Kris Humphries, claims Radar Online.
Kim Kardashian, 32, claimed on a recent episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami that medical tests showed her hormone levels were “really suppressed” due to having been on birth control for several years.
“My egg levels came back as a woman that’s in her 50s,” she declared to the cameras.
“I’m concerned just hearing all this information of how every woman is born with a certain amount of eggs, and that number can never be increased.
“Maybe this just isn’t in the cards for me, and I’m freaking out a little bit.”
However, Radar Online is now reporting Kim Kardashian was “grossly exaggerating her fertility worries”, according to a source.
Kim Kardashian and her rapper boyfriend Kanye West announced back in December that they were expecting their first baby together.
“Kim’s supposed fertility problems were nowhere near as dire as she made them out to be,” a source told Radar.
“Yes, her estrogen levels were low, but she had been on the pill for a very, very long time.
“She was in a healthy normal range though, given she had been on birth control.”
The insider added that Kim Kardashian “absolutely does not have fertility issues like Khloe”.
Kim Kardashian’s younger sister has had trouble conceiving with husband Lamar Odom since they wed in 2009.
“Kim’s doctor assured her that once she had been off the pill for a few months she shouldn’t have any issues conceiving,” the source said.
The website reports that the news may have implications for Kim Kardashian’s upcoming deposition in the couple’s ongoing divorce dispute.
“Kim is going to be grilled over the claims she made by Kris’ attorney at her upcoming deposition, because they believe this goes to the core of their case against her – that’s she’s willing to lie and manipulate the truth for the sake of her career,” the insider added.
“This could seriously damage Kim’s credibility and bolster Kris’s case that he was duped into marrying her.”
The divorce trial between Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian is set to start on May 6.

The reality star said she found it hard to believe she was really going to be a mother.
“I think until I really start seeing, like, a belly, it won’t really sink in. It’s just like a weird realization until you really start seeing the physical changes, um, and every day’s different.”
However, there is one thing disrupting Kim Kardashian’s perfect life – her failed marriage to Kris Humphries.
Despite filing for divorce from the basketball player after just 72 days in 2011, the two have yet to finalize their divorce.
Kris Humphries has refused to sign papers ending the marriage.

On the Today Show Kim Kardashian explained: “I can’t speak for anyone else [about why Kris Humphries hasn’t signed]. It’s a process. … It’s happening, hopefully.”
She also talked about the possibility of a third marriage, to her rapper boyfriend Kanye West.
“It’s something that we talk about, but I think it’s just, right now, focusing on the baby,” said Kim Kardashian.
“[I’m] so content with how things are right now. And how life is and we’re so happy. We definitely want that in the future, but I’m not in a rush.
“What I’ve learned in life is – I was always such a planner, and… you think your life is going to be a certain way, and the best surprises just happen when you don’t plan.”
The baby news was made public when Kanye West, 35, announced it on stage during a concert on December 30.
While Kim Kardashian was surprised he announced her pregnancy, she was happy for him to do so.
She said: “Once you’re past the three-month mark, you’re pretty safe, so he just kind of goes off with what he feels and he was feeling it that night.”
Kim Kardashian wore a black dress which showed off her toned legs for her TV interview. She was with her sister Kourtney, who wore a clinging leather dress as they promoted their reality show Kourtney And Kim Take Miami.
It was hard work for Kim Kardashian, who tweeted: “Got 2.5 hours of sleep! I can never sleep my 1st night in NYC. Off to do the Today Show soon, the Kelly & Michael with @KourtneyKardash!”
After their early morning spot on the Today Show the sisters moved on to film Live With Kelly And Michael.
They switched their black outfits for more colorful creations, with Kim Kardashian choosing a yellow dress, teamed with red lipstick, and Kourtney a red patterned blouse and white jeans.
She might be expecting, but Kim Kardashian looked as on trend as ever in her peplum dress with side cut outs and nude court shoes.

Giuliana Rancic tried in vitro fertilization, but two procedures failed to produce a pregnancy and the one that did ended in miscarriage.
After a routine mammogram in 2011, she found out she had breast cancer, but fortunately was able to beat it.
The couple never gave up their dream of becoming parents and early this year saw light at the end of the tunnel when they announced they were expecting a child via gestational carrier.
The Italian-born TV personality recently shared a video of her bottle-feeding the baby for the first time at the Denver, Colorado hospital right after he was born.
“I expected to be more nervous and more flustered, like I had no idea what to do,” Giuliana Rancic says in the video.
“But I feel totally at ease. I just feel like I know what he needs.”
“We just stare at him all the time,” Giuliana Rancic revealed on the Today show not long after Edward was born.
“He’s got big eyes and he’ll just stare at you for 10 minutes at a time. It’s just unbelievable…When the baby came into the world, we just started hysterically crying tears of joy.”
Giuliana and Bill Rancic are already planning to expand their family with baby No. 2 in the near future, and are even thinking of using the same gestational carrier as before.
