A joint memorial service for Debbie Reynolds and her daughter Carrie Fisher is reportedly planned by their family.
Debbie Reynolds, 84, died from a suspected stroke on December 28, while grieving for her daughter Carrie Fisher, who died on December 27 at the age of 60.
Carrie Fisher, best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars series, died after suffering a heart attack on a flight from London to LA.
Her brother, Todd Fisher, told the New York Daily News a joint service was “likely”.
Debbie Reynold’s son said: “It’s what we want to do, but we’re still working on the mechanics.
“We like the idea, if it’s at all possible. I think it’s appropriate.”

Todd Fisher has posted a cartoon depiction of his mother and sister together, reprising their most famous roles, alongside the caption: “This is a beautiful love story to witness in my 58 years. I miss them both so much. Love is everlasting.”
He announced his mother’s death on December 28, revealing that her last words were: “I want to be with Carrie.”
Todd Fisher confirmed to ABC News that there is currently no date or location for the mother-daughter funeral, but plans are in process.
Bruce Bozzi, the stepfather to Carrie Fisher’s only child Billie Lourd, said he was “honored” to be part of the Fisher and Reynolds family, posting a graduation picture of the 24-year-old Scream Queens’ actress alongside her late mother and grandmother.
He wrote: “It’s an honor to be your stepfather.
“As Carrie said to me years ago <<I’m a good stepmother>> I promise I will always be & the strength of these women live so vibrantly in you.”

Debbie Reynolds was best known for starring opposite Gene Kelly in the 1952 musical Singin’ in the Rain.
The 84-year-old actress had been rushed to hospital with a suspected stroke.
Debbie Reynolds’ son, Todd Fisher, said the stress of Carrie’s death had been too much for her and in her last words, she had said she wanted to be with her daughter.
She had been at her son’s house in Beverly Hills – apparently discussing the arrangements for Carrie Fisher’s funeral – when she was taken ill.
Debbie Reynolds was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre suffering from breathing difficulties and her death was confirmed a few hours later. It is thought she suffered a stroke.

The actress never regained consciousness after suffering a massive heart attack on board a flight from London to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve.
Speaking to the Associated Press about his mother, Todd Fisher said: “She’s now with Carrie and we’re all heartbroken.”
TMZ reported that Debbie Reynolds cracked while discussing plans for Carrie’s funeral with her son, telling him: “I miss her so much; I want to be with Carrie.”
Debbie Reynolds was leading lady in a succession of major Hollywood musicals and comedies in the 1950s and 60s.
She rose to stardom with Singin’ in the Rain, at the age of only 19.
Debbie Reynolds received a best actress Academy Award nomination for the 1964 musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
In 2015, Debbie Reynolds she was given a lifetime achievement award by the Screen Actors Guild. The award was presented to her by Carrie Fisher.
She married singer Eddie Fisher in 1955 and had two children, Carrie and Todd. The couple divorced in 1959 after news emerged of his affair with movie star Elizabeth Taylor.
Debbie Reynolds married twice more.
She had a sometimes strained relationship with Carrie Fisher, who wrote about it in her semi-autobiographical novel Postcards from the Edge.
Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher stopped speaking to each other for many years but became closer later in life.
Carrie Fisher is in stable condition after suffering a heart attack on December 23, her mother has announced.
The 60-year-old actress, who played Princess Leia Organa in Star Wars saga, is in the ICU of a Los Angeles hospital.
Carrie Fisher had heart problems during a flight from London to LA, and passengers attempted to revive her with CPR.

Carrie Fisher had been on tour promoting her latest book, The Princess Diarist.
According to TMZ, the cardiac arrest happened about 15 minutes before the plane landed in LA. A doctor who was travelling on the plane administered CPR.
Paramedics then spent a further 15 minutes administering more CPR to Carrie Fisher before getting a pulse, TMZ reported.
Carrie Fisher appeared in the original Star Wars trilogy and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a sequel released in 2015.
