Chelsea Clinton gave birth to her second child with husband Marc Mezvinsky, a baby boy named Aidan.
The former First Daughter tweeted: “Marc and I are overwhelmed with gratitude and love as we celebrate the birth of our son, Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky.”
Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky already have a daughter, Charlotte, born in 2014.
Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky is the second grandchild for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.
Hillary Clinton describes herself as “wife, mom, grandma” in her own twitter bio.
Chelsea Clinton has frequently supported her mother at political events, most recently appearing alongside her in Brooklyn, New York, on June 7, when she secured the Democratic nomination.
Hillary Clinton’s opponent, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, also welcomed a new grandson recently.
Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka had a third child, Theodore, in March.
Chelsea Clinton shared the first picture of her newborn daughter Charlotte just one day after giving birth.
Chelsea Clinton, 34, tweeted on September 27: “At 7:03 PM on September 26th, we finally met Charlotte.”
“We’re in love.”
The former first daughter looked overjoyed at the hospital as she and her husband Marc Mezvinsky stared down at their daughter. Charlotte was wrapped in a blanket for her debut and wore a pink cap.
Chelsea Clinton tweeted that she was in “awe and gratitude” after meeting her baby girl for the first time.

Grandparents Bill and Hillary Clinton felt the same way.
“Charlotte, your grandmother @HillaryClinton and I couldn’ be happier!” President Bill Clinton tweeted.
Bill and Hillary Clinton also released a statement on their excitement: “We are blessed, grateful, and so happy to be the grandparents of a beautiful girl.”
“We are thrilled to be with our daughter and her husband as they welcome their daughter into the world. Chelsea is well and glowing. Marc is bursting with pride. Charlotte’s life is off to a good start.”
Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton announced that she and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, are expecting their first child during a Clinton Foundation event devoted to empowering young women at New York’s Lower East Side Girls Club on April 17.
Chelsea Clinton, 34, told guests at the event: “Marc and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year.”
“I certainly feel all the better whether it’s a girl or a boy that she or he will grow up in world filled with so many strong, young female leaders,” she added.

It appears that Chelsea Clinton’s pregnancy is going along quite smoothly, and by the looks of her giant bump she must be due in the very early part of fall 2014.
Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky, who currently live in New York City, have yet to tell the public what the sex of the baby is, but we know they will be happy with whatever they are gifted with.
Now seven-month pregnant, Chelsea Clinton’s due date would be roughly late October to early November.
