Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie brought along up to 12 nannies to look after their brood during their festive break in the Caribbean.
They reportedly took along a mammoth childcare staff to look after their six children during their visit to the home of designer Donna Karan on Turks and Caicos.
According to the New York Post, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are living it up along with Brad’s parents Jane and William Pitt, his brother Doug Pitt and sister Julie Neal Pitt, their spouses and their children.
The mulitimillion dollar home in elite Parrot Cay is on a white sand beach, and reportedly includes an infinity pool lined with black volcanic stone.
It also features 360-degree views, African and Asian art, an open-air screening room for watching movies and a dining pavilion that was created in Bali.
But it seems the family may not be taking care of Maddox, Shiloh, Knox, Vivienne, Pax and Zahara alone.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie brought along up to 12 nannies to look after their brood during their festive break in the Caribbean
Architectural Digest editor-at-large Jeffrey Slonim posted on his blog: “At lunch on a small island three away from Parrot Cay.
“A woman said she’d heard from a local that [Pitt and Jolie] were in town with two nannies per child. Count ’em, 12 nannies!”
But their youngsters had better not get to comfortable on the island, as reports have said the power couple are taking their kids around the world for the holidays.
Witnesses on the island claim the family are loving being away from the limelight.
An insider said: “They are at Donna’s house, without Donna, and have been loving the island because it is so secluded.
“Angelina’s taken the kids to Karan’s yoga spa. They’ve been running around the island with no care in the world, and relaxing.”
Donna Karan told Vanity Fair in August that her “best-kept secret” on Parrot Cay is her “spa house . . . It’s like a private yoga retreat”.
But they are not the only big names sunning themselves on the Carribean, for Rolling Stone Keith Richards, fresh off his 50th anniversary tour with his band is also having a richly rewarded break.
Apparently the 69-year-old pensioner is relaxing with his “whole family”, and is “in very good spirits”.
Other stars spotted included Christie Brinkley’s and daughter Alexa Joel, as well as Lost producer J.J. Abrams, who has also been holidaying with his family.
The Treasury in Ickham is a sumptuous barn conversion and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would have paid $5,000 a month to rent the pad while he filmed scenes for World War Z
When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie descended on Ickham, Kent, UK, and rented a luxury village cottage, complete with grand piano and shag carpets, even the landlords didn’t believe it was actually them.
Angelina Jolie, 37, even took their six-strong brood to the village shop to buy sweets and magazines, while Brad Pitt, 48, was rumored to have popped next door for a pint in the local pub.
Brad Pitt had returned to Kent as he was re-shooting scenes from upcoming blockbuster zombie movie World War Z.
The family is famously for travelling together when either parent is working on location and are known to only choose the best accommodation.
Staying in the Treasury in Ickham, a sumptuous barn conversion featuring “breath-taking huge rooms, floor to ceiling windows and beamed vaulted ceilings throughout”.
On the rental firm Mulberry Cottage website it says the property is: “A stunning barn conversion located within the most idyllic Kent village yet within easy distance of the historic City of Canterbury and a short distance from the coast. Recently awarded the acclaimed four star gold award for excellence.
“Stylishly furnished with wonderfully spacious open plan rooms, this luxury barn is quite literally breath-taking with huge rooms, floor to ceiling windows and beamed vaulted ceilings throughout.”
The website adds: “There is a den area at the top of the house and is ideally suited to teenagers with comfortable bean bags, flatscreen 3D TV and DVD blueray player thoughtfully provided by the owner.”
This may have been handy for Angelina Jolie, if she wanted to take a load off and just send her six children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne upstairs to watch CBeebies.
The kitchen is also wonderfully luxurious, boasting: “The state of the art kitchen has been equipped with every conceivable appliance including five ring range style cooker, American fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven.
“The kitchen has floor to ceiling windows that flood the room with sunlight and has been beautifully finished with cream granite work surfaces and teak colored units.”
A spokeswoman at Canterbury-based rental firm Mulberry Cottages told local website Kent News that: “We have only just found out they were staying with us. It was booked through a production company.”
Reports even suggested Brad Pitt popped along to nearby The Duke William pub, but owner Kate Coleman refused to divulge what the superstar ordered.
A source told E! News the dad of six “would also go drinking after work at The Duke William pub in Ickham”.
Angelina Jolie is also said to have taken their children Knox, to nearby Howletts Zoo in Bekesbourne.
E! Online reported: “The kids all took their fishing rods and bikes and spent a lot of time playing outside while Brad was shooting reshoots for World War Z.”
Jennifer Aniston is said to be delighted for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie after hearing the couple are set to wed.
Jennifer Aniston, 43, is so happy with her own beau Justin Theroux that she is actually pleased with the situation, according to reports.
According to HollywoodLife.com a source said: “Jennifer is happy for Brad and Angelina. She is so in love with Justin, that she is really grateful how things turned out.
“In a strange way if it weren’t for Angelina, Jennifer would not have connected with Justin in a romantic way. Jennifer is in a really wonderful place right now.”
The source added: “I wouldn’t be surprised if she even went to their wedding.”
Jennifer Aniston is said to be delighted for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie after hearing the couple are set to wed
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston split in 2005, ending their five year marriage, and the actor was soon linked to Angelina Jolie.
Rumors were sparked that Brangelina got together while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith, while Brad Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston.
Brad Pitt’s former wife isn’t the only one said to be thrilled with the news the couple’s six children have finally got the fairytale they wished for following news their famous parents are set to wed.
A representative for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – whose engagement was confirmed yesterday – revealed the Brangelina brood is “very happy”.
While the couple said they would not get married until everyone, including gay couples could, they have reportedly been given blessing from certain LGBT groups.
Angelina Jolie recently revealed in an interview how their kids often asked why there were not married “like Shrek and Fiona”.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children are very unruly, say family insiders, who are also worried about the kids’ health and hygiene.
Sugar binges, screaming tantrums, violent fights, and more; insiders say it’s an absolute zoo with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s family.
According to a new report in OK! magazine, the couples’ friends say the kids – Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and Knox and Vivienne, 3 – are on the verge of a meltdown.
“There’s not much any of us can do but sit and watch,” a family friend says.
“The kids are all goofed up on sugar, and after Shiloh has five cookies in a row and Maddox downs his third orange Fanta, it’s crazy hour. That’s what we call it: Crazy Hour. Toys fly. Kids melt down into tantrums. There’s fighting, it’s just a zoo.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children are very unruly, say family insiders, who are also worried about the kids’ health and hygiene
Angelina Jolie has called junk food the “family weakness” in the past, but that doesn’t stop her from letting the kids eat whatever they want.
“The kids eat fast food every day, doughnuts for breakfast,” the friend reveals.
“Shiloh’s a sugar addict, screaming when she’s cut off.”
Despite all the sugar, the pal says Angelina Jolie doesn’t enforce teeth brushing.
“Angelina does not insist the kids brush every day or wash hands before meals,” the insider says.
“They bathe whenever they want, which is not often. Brad’s friends say that his kids smell like Johnny Depp.”
The kids’ safety is also a concern to friends.
“The twins are in that stage where they put everything in their mouths,” the insider reveals.
“Brad and Angie don’t always catch them and the worry is that one day they’ll get something really toxic. On top of that, it’s downright gross.”
But most troubling is the violence.
“Angelina lets the boys play with guns, rifles, though they are unloaded and some are just toys,” the friend says.
“Others are real and pricey antiques – they’re the ones the boys use to pretend-kill the staff.”
Angelina Jolie isn’t disturbed by the faux-violence.
“Apparently, Angie actually thinks it’s funny when her kids pretend to shoot people,” the friend says.
“She laughs out loud. A lot of people think she and Brad need to put a stop to it, but that’s not likely to happen.”
Brad Pitt, who is promoting his new film Moneyball, gave an interview to Parade magazine and made incredible comments about his marriage with Jennifer Aniston and told how content he is with Angelina Jolie.
Brad Pitt, 47, told Parade:
“I spent the ’90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony.
“I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic.
“It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself.”
Brad Pitt had astonishing remarks about his life with Jennifer Aniston during Parade interview
At one moment, Brad Pitt had an astonishing remark about his life with Jennifer Aniston:
“I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”
Brad Pitt married Aniston, 41, in 2000 after dating her in the 1990s.
The couple split five years later soon after Brad Pitt filmed Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Angelina Jolie, 36.
Since then, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gone on to have six children, three of whom they adopted.
Brad Pitt continued: “One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.”
The comments were more than scathing, considering Jennifer Aniston has made no secret of her desire to be a mother.
In contrast to his life in the 1990s, Brad Pitt said he is now very content.
“I put much more emphasis on being a satisfied man. I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much.
“A family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss. That’s the trade-off. But I’ll take it all.”
Willing to dish to the press about secrets of his first marriage, Brad Pitt, who is currently filming World War Z, is far less happy when the press intrudes on his current private life.
“I mean, how many stories have you read that aren’t true, stories about me and Angie being married or fighting or splitting up? And when we don’t split up, there’s a whole new round that we’ve made up and we’re back together again!” the actor explained.
“We’ll get married when everyone can. We’re not splitting up. And we don’t have a seventh child yet.”
Brad Pitt’s comments were made during his promotional tour for Moneyball, which opens in the U.S. on September 23.
