Duck Dynasty’s  Willie Robertson was the big star at Wednesday’s opening of the Bass Pro Shops in Colorado Springs.

Four hundred people who stood in line – some for more than 24 hours –  were issued wristbands to receive autographs from Willie Robertson, but he also made an appearance on stage during the store’s opening ceremonies and waved to enthusiastic fans.

“We saw him, and that’s all that’s important,” one woman in the crowd was overheard telling her kids.

Willie Robertson politely signed autographs and posed for pictures.
