The 6ft 2in beauty excitedly broke the news to her followers, stating: “Officially working for @TwoManagement and @IMGmodels! I’m blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK.”
Ireland Baldwin will be joining such model luminaries as Kate Moss and Christy Turlington at the prestigious IMG agency.
She certainly has a leg-up in the genes department with gorgeous Kim Basinger as her mother.
Kim Basinger, 59, was a Ford model before finding fame as a Bond girl in the Eighties film Never Say Never Again.
Ireland Baldwin first made headlines as a young girl when she found herself at the center of a nasty custody battle after Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger divorced in 2002.

Hilaria Baldwin revealed on Thursday that she is expecting a girl – and couldn’t be happier.
“Alec and I are overjoyed that we are going to be welcoming a little girl into our lives,” Hilaria Baldwin said on Extra.
The baby will be a half-sister to Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland, 17, from his first marriage to Kim Basinger.
Alec Baldwin, 54, had rather obviously been hoping for a boy to balance things out.
Speaking on the Rachael Ray Show, Hilaria Baldwin said: “[Alec] had the idea for Massimo the other day. It’s a lovely name, I just don’t know.
“That’s a very big name for a very little baby.
“We have a different idea almost every single day.
“I think you actually have to look at it once it pops out and say, <<Who are you? What is your name?>>”

While Hilaria and Alec Baldwin planning on having a baby so soon after their June 2012 wedding, they cannot wait to welcome the latest addition to their family.
Hilaria Baldwin, who now works as Extra‘s lifestyle correspondent, found out she was expecting at Christmas.
She said: “It was something that we both wanted – I don’t want to say it was a surprise and we didn’t want it – we were very excited when we found out.
“But we just got married in June… so it was a really nice Christmas present.”

Hilaria Thomas has already noticed a change in her body and she can’t wait to start preparing their home for the new arrival.

“I want to have a baby and stay home and make the pancakes before I send my wife out to work every day to pay the bills.”
Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas were recently denied reports they were having a baby because they weren’t ready to announce the news.
Hilaria Thomas first sparked speculation she was expecting late last month when she showed off what looked like a baby bump while filming a segment for Extra that saw her pull off some impromptu dance moves.

The New York venue is where Alec Baldwin married Hilaria Thomas earlier this year, and his daughter was one of the bridesmaids.
Alec Baldwin, 54, may not have the same washboard stomach that his daughter has but he is certainly in better shape than has been in a long time.
The 30 Rock star dropped 30 lbs after giving up sugar and starch when he was diagnosed as pre-diabetic.
Speaking to David Letterman Alec Baldwin said: “I’ve been trying to diet and I’ve lost so much weight that the problem is none of my clothes fit me.”

Ireland Baldwin’s famous parents split when she was just five after her mother’s Academy Award for LA Confidential; her 54-year-old father had moved his young family to his childhood home in Long Island and it pushed a final wedge between the starry pair.
Alec Baldwin followed his family back to LA so he could maintain a close relationship with Ireland, but in 2005 she complained of feeling unsafe around the 30 Rock star after overhearing a row between him and his then girlfriend.
In 2007, an infamous voicemail from Alec Baldwin was leaked.
On it you can hear him accusing his daughter of being a “rude, thoughtless little pig”.
But Ireland Baldwin counters: “I’ve always had a really great relationship with my dad,” she tells Page Six Magazine from the California cottage where she lives with Kim Basinger.
“The only problem with that voicemail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was. He’s said stuff like that before just because he’s frustrated.
“For me it was like, <<OK, whatever>>. I called him back, I was like, <<Sorry, Dad, I didn’t have my phone>>. That was it.”
“We almost did something funny on YouTube, of me calling him and yelling at him,” she laughs.
“We were just talking about it the other week.”

The Reverend George Deas is said to have performed the ceremony, reportedly conducted in English with readings in Spanish.
Guests at the nuptials in Manhattan’s Nolita district included Alec Baldwin’s 30 Rock co-star Tina Fey, his brothers Stephen and Billy Baldwin, Woody Allen and wife Soon-Yi, actress Mariska Hargitay, Robert Kennedy Jr. and Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels.
After the ceremony, guests were filtered to the campus of Hilaria’s alma mater, New York University, for a reception at the private school’s nearby Kimmel Center.
Earlier Hilaria tweeted: “Today is going to be a good day.”
According to E! Online the couple chose a white color scheme for the ceremony, highlighted in the selection of flowers that decorated the historic cathedral.
Florist De Juan Stroud placed “white hydrangeas, white roses and calla lilies around the church”.
The entertainment website also reports that white ribbons were tied to the pews and a tent was set up near the back entrance of the church.
Alec Baldwin, who is 26 years Hilaria’s senior, asked for her hand in April in Long Island, New York.
The two dated for almost a year before he proposed and they first appeared in public together at several bashes in New York in May 2011.

Last week, Ireland Baldwin was spotted out with father Alec, 54, not long after his altercation with a New York Daily News photographer outside a court room.
A photograph of the fracas was splashed all over the U.S. newspaper, but Alec Baldwin told The Charlie Rose Show earlier in the week that he was a victim.
“The guy lunged and almost hit me in the teeth with the lens of the camera,” said the actor, who is engaged to yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.
“So I just pushed the guy away.”
Alec Baldwin’s relationship with his only daughter has come a long way since he left an infamous voicemail for her back in 2007, referring to her as a “rude, thoughtless little pig”.

Wednesday night Alec Baldwin made an appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman, and seemed to be in the mood to play the antics of recent days down.

“He shoved me and ran over my foot,” the Daily News reported.
They added that a Daily News reporter and photographer were hit by the handlebars.

Ireland Baldwin, meanwhile, was wearing a white top, black miniskirt and denim shirt, teamed with tan boots.
Later in the day Alec Baldwin was seen out with fiancée Hilaria Thomas, heading into New York University.

After a flurry of reports hit Twitter, Alec Baldwin took to his own account to give his version of yesterday events.
“Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving,” Alec Baldwin tweeted yesterday afternoon, along with the hashtag, “#nowonderamericaairisbankrupt”
Before adding: “#theresalwaysunited”
Alec Baldwin then updated his flight status, writing: “Now on the 3 o’clock American flight. The flight attendants already look…..smarter.”

Alec Baldwin was finally arrived at JFK in the evening, after what had this time appeared to be a drama-free trip home.
TMZ reports that Alec Baldwin got kicked off his earlier flight when the actor “slammed” the bathroom door so loudly the captain had to get involved.
According to passengers, after the confrontation over his iPhone, Alec Baldwin got up to go to the bathroom and angrily slammed the lavatory door and it was so loud the captain called back to flight attendants to find out what was happening.
That’s when the captain himself made the call to have Alec Baldwin removed.
Earlier, author Grant Cardone tweeted that he saw Alec Baldwin getting kicked off, and said he was “told by an AA authority” that the actor was booted because he “Didn’t have his Capitol One card and [was] Abusive to attendant.”
Alec Baldwin appears in commercials for Capitol One credit cards.
The actor has allowed his temper get the better of him in the past.
In 2007, Alec Baldwin horrendously left a voice mail for his young daughter calling her a “rude, thoughtless little pig”.
He later apologized and wrote a book inspired by the incident.

One joked: “Alec Baldwin should never be allowed to fly quite frankly. His liberal politics represent a clear and present danger to the U.S.”
Before another added: “I was on the plane and yes Alec Baldwin was kicked off for grabbing 2 bags of peanuts and that is clearly an FAA violation. He may do time.”
