Rihanna will join The Voice as a key adviser to all the coaches on the show’s upcoming season 9.
Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will return as mentors, along with Gwen Stefani – who previously served as a coach on season 7.
Adam Levine and the singing competition’s host, Carson Daly, have welcomed Rihanna on Twitter.
“Welcome @Rihanna to @NbcTheVoice as an Advisor for this season #VoiceRIHveal,” Adam Levine tweeted.
Carson Daly also wrote: “Welcome @rihanna to @NBCTheVoice family!!! So stoked to have you. #VoiceRIHveal.”
The Voice Season 9 begins on NBC on September 21.
