Brian Williams’ Suspension Officially Lifted
Brian Williams’ suspension has been officially lifted on August 11, CNN reports.
The former NBC Nightly News anchor received a six-month suspension for telling a falsehood about his experience in Iraq.
Brian Williams will begin his MSNBC duties in mid-September though a specific debut date has not been set.
He will now take on a new role of breaking news anchor for cable outlet MSNBC.
Brian Williams has been replaced on NBC Nightly News by Lester Holt.
