The Blacklist Season 3 Premiere Date Set for September 24
NBC officially announced fall 2015 premiere dates for its new and returning shows on June 22.
The network has decided to spread out the premieres of its fall shows through September and October.
The Blacklist Season 3 will premiere on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 9PM ET right after the premiere of the new series Heroes Reborn.
The first episode of The Blacklist Season 2 on September 22, 2014 attracted 12.3 million viewers to TV screens and as the series went on, it showed the same results of over 10 million viewers (as in the first season).
The series tells the story of the interaction between a criminal of a global scale Raymond “Red” Reddington and an FBI team.
Also Netflix is banking on The Blacklist, as it has acquired the rights to broadcast the first season from the NBC for $ 2 million per episode. The transaction further increases the importance of The Blacklist as a phenomenon on modern television and it might speed up the decision by the NBC on the fate of a third season.
The Blacklist Season 2 finale ended with Liz Keen (Megan Boone) and Red Reddington (James Spader) hopping on a van to flee the country together.
