Randy Rogers’ Newborn Daughter Dies Six Days After Birth
Randy Rogers’ infant daughter, Rumer Rain, has died on June 9, just six days after her birth.
The Randy Rogers Band frontman and his wife Chelsea welcomed their baby girl on June 3, when the country singer tweeted the great news: “Newest member of the Rogers family, Rumer Rain. It’s a good day, friends.”
On June 10, Randy Rogers announced the sad news on his Facebook page: “Rumer Rain Rogers, daughter of Randy and Chelsea Rogers, passed away last night at Seton Memorial Hospital in Austin, Texas. Rumer died of natural causes, in her parents loving arms, just days after her birth.
“During this time of grieving, the family asks that individuals wishing to offer condolences make a donation to the children’s charity of their choosing. The family thanks you for your love and support.”
Randy Rogers also shared the devastating news with his Twitter followers on the same day, writing: “We are sad to say that Rumer Rain Rogers passed away last night. She was well loved, well cared for and in her parents loving arms.”
Rumer Rain was Randy and Chelsea Rogers’ second child. The couple welcomed daughter River in 2013.
