Tuesday’s temperatures remain up to 30 degrees below average in Midwest and Northeast, forecasters announced.
“This is going to be another cold week,” Kevin Roth from the Weather Channel said.
“Tuesday will see temperatures drop between 10 to 30 degrees below average for much of the Midwest and Northeast, so most areas will be freezing or colder.”
The coldest air will be reserved for the northern Plains to the Great Lakes, where highs will be in the single digits and teens, according to the National Weather Service.
Overnight and into Wednesday, cities from Washington, D.C., to New York could see one or two inches of snow, Kevin Roth added.
Meanwhile, a couple of heavy storms will hit California this week.
