Former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ court accused of attacking celebrity blogger Vas Morgan at last year’s V Festival.
Tulisa Contostavlos, 25, pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault by beating.
The British singer was released on unconditional bail and the case will go to trial in May.
Tulisa Contostavlos was voluntarily interviewed by police after the alleged August 8 incident and issued a statement denying the allegation.
Vas Morgan claims Tulisa Contostavlos charged towards him in a “drunken and angry state” at the music event last year.
At the time, a representative for Tulisa Contostavlos of Friern Barnet, north London, said: “Tulisa strongly denies assaulting Mr. Morgan.
“She specifically denies punching Mr. Morgan in the eye.”
