Bernard Madoff has been returned to jail after being hospitalized for a heart attack last month.
According to CNBC, Bernard Madoff, 75, also has stage four kidney disease, but is not receiving dialysis.
He has served less than five years of his 150-year prison sentence for running the largest investment fraud in US history.
Bernard Madoff was hospitalized last month at Duke University Medical Center, and has since been returned to the medium security federal prison in nearby Butner, North Carolina, CNBC reported.
