Ireland Baldwin snagged an opportunity to take a photo of her mother Kim Basinger completely make-up free and apparently peacefully sleeping as she revealed in a cute Instagram snap on Monday.

Ireland Baldwin, 17, was also without make-up for the cute mother-daughter snap, and it was clear where she got her natural beauty from.

They appeared to be relaxing as they watched television in bed together.

Kim Basinger, now 59, started her career as a fashion model and has graced magazine covers worldwide, usually clad head-to-toe in spectacular ensembles and, of course, made up.

So it was a rare opportunity to see the actress in her natural state and refreshing to see just how beautiful she really is.

Ireland Baldwin, who is now taking the plunge into a modeling career, cannot get enough of social media and is known to use Instagram and Twitter frequently to communicate to the world, particularly to express how much she adores her boyfriend Slater Trout.
