Kris Jenner revealed that when it came time for Kim Kardashian and partner Kanye West to name their baby daughter, the momager “stayed out of that” decision.
While appearing on the Huffington Post Live, Kris Jenner insisted that her granddaughter North West’s name was a “joint decision” between daughter Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
“They did it together,” Kris Jenner told host Marc Lamont Hill on Monday.
“I stayed out of that one. I did the same thing with Kourtney when she named Mason and Penelope.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed the blessed child three weeks early on June 15.
“Kim sort of explained it to me,” Kris Jenner said of the curious moniker.
“North is the highest power. And their baby North, their little girl, is the highest point and power between the two of them. So I thought that was really cool.
“When a baby’s born and you give it a name and you’re really sure about it…that’s just going to be that baby’s energy. So I’m excited.”
Kris Jenner has been slowly revealing details about little “Nori” while promoting her upcoming Fox talk show Kris, which premieres next Monday.
