After she impressed on the red carpet at GLAAD Media Awards last month, June Shannon looked a little disheveled as she sat on the steps in front of her McIntyre, Georgia home, picking her nose and sipping on soft drinks.

June Shannon, 33, seemed to have transformed on recent occasion, impressing fans with her 100lb weight-loss and tasteful black dress at GLAAD Media Awards in New York City.

However, it appears Mama June’s red carpet makeover was only temporary.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother was surrounded by her family – including the hit TLC show’s namesake, her daughter Alana – as they filmed new scenes for the series about the pageant princess.

June Shannon was dressed in head-to-toe black, her blonde hair tightened back into a messy ponytail, while Honey Boo Boo hula hooped in the front yard.

While not dissimilar from her appearance on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality show, the look was a striking contrast to her red carpet appearance.

Last month, June Shannon, a mother-of-four, revealed that she had lost more than 100 lbs over the past two years as a result of her hectic TV schedule.

June Shannon appeared to have had a style revelation for the GLAAD Media Awards, gliding down the red carpet in a black maxi dress with subtle make-up, manicured nails and coiffed blonde, curly hair.

The makeover was most likely inspired by the family’s new-found fame, as June Shannon is now photographed wherever she goes.
