Anne Hathaway’s latest ensemble seemed swamped in heavy material as she stepped out on Saturday evening for the Producers Guild Awards.
Anne Hathaway, 30, turned up at the 24th annual ceremony wearing a frock which was more useful as a tent than figure-framing piece.
The bandeau number featured loud multi-color floral stitching, which consisted of a yellow hue to co-ordinate with her gold heels.
Attached to the back of her bustier upper half was what looked like an extra piece of material from the same fabric which left her billowing behind.
Anne Hathaway did show off her shoulders in the eye-catching number but the shape of the piece did not bring out the best in her slender frame.
The dark-featured actress wore only a slick of pink lipgloss on her plump pout and her short brunette tresses were styled back away from her face.
Anne Hathaway rubbed shoulders with a host of stars at the prestigious event, where her latest motion picture, Les Miserables, is nominated.
Additionally, producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will receive the guild’s highest honor, the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures, honoring careers that have included the films Fargo, Billy Elliot, O Brother Where Art Thou? and Frost/Nixon.
It is not the first time Anne Hathaway has opted for a cape-style feature for her red carpet outfit.
Anne Hathaway was polished in Altuzzara dress and Burberry Prorsum cape at the Les Miserables After Party, held at The Roundhouse in December.
