Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have welcomed their third child.
The baby joins the couple’s daughter Vida, 3, and their 4-year-old son Levi.
The sex of the baby has yet to be confirmed, although TMZ reported that it was a second daughter for the couple.
It is believed 30-year-old Camila Alves gave birth in Austin, Texas, where the two share a home.
The happy couple have been together since 2006 but wed in June this year at their Texas home.
Matthew McConaughey, 43, is currently filming The Dallas Buyers Club in New Orleans, but is thought to have been at Camila Alves’ side for the birth.
The actor announced the news of his wife’s pregnancy the Independence Day weekend.
“Happy birthday America,” he actor tweeted.
“More good news, Camila and I are expecting our 3rd child, God bless, just keep livin.”
Matthew McConaughey told People magazine of his children’s excitement when he told them about their new sibling.
“When Camila and I told them the news there was a lot of dancing and a lot of singing,” he said.
“One of them wants a brother, the other one wants a sister and then they switch the next day.”
