Bobby Brown wants Bobbi Kristina to star in movie on his life
Bobby Brown has written a script for a film on his life and wants daughter Bobbi Kristina to act in it.
The script, entitled “The Bad Boy of R&B: The Bobby Brown Story”, was initially being sent out to potential backers late last year but received very little interest.
According to RadarOnline, after the death of his ex-wife Whitney Houston on February 11, Bobby Brown and his writing partner Michael Pinckney have had renewed attention to the project.
“The script’s ending will now have to be re-written to include the untimely death of the <<Bodyguard>> star,” a source said.
“But the remainder of the story will stay the same as the former couple’s volatile marriage is only <<lightly touched>> on the script,” the source added.
Michael Pinckney, a budding director and Spike Lee’s protégé, already has credits as a first or second assistant director on films like Tower Heist, Precious and Inside Man.
The director will be embarking on a “Who’s going to play Bobby Brown” search, similar to how Lee Daniels found Gabrielle Sidibe for her role in Precious as they want to cast an unknown.
