Bobbi Kristina Brown is engaged to Nick Gordon, claims a family friend

Earlier reports claimed that Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has been dating Nick Gordon – Whitney’s unofficially adopted son – but now it sounds like their relationship may be further along than anyone thought.

A Houston family friend told Star magazine that Nick Gordon actually proposed to Bobbi Kristina on March 10 and she said yes.

The family friend says Nick Gordon is taking advantage of “vulnerable” Bobbi Kristina Brown, but his grandmother says he’s actually “very protective” of Whitney Houston’s daughter.

“Nick took care of Whitney and Kristina,” Nick’s grandmother Maxine Gordon told Star.

“He’s always been extremely protective of Kristina.”

However, the family friend believes that Nick Gordon is only proposing to Bobbi Kristina because she is about to inherit Whitney Houston’s 10 million dollar fortune.

“Krissy said Nick is the only person she trusts in the world,” the friend reveals.

“He’s always been extremely protective of Kristina. [They] have blurred the boundaries between a platonic relationship and a romantic one for some time. They’ve even been sleeping in the same bed.”

The friend believes they’re both making a terrible mistake.

“Nick is getting her at her most vulnerable,” the friend says.

“If he really loved her, he’d back off the engagement and just be her friend.”

Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina recently took the Twitter to defend their controversial relationship.
