Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is speaking out for the first time since the superstar’s passing in an interview with Oprah Winfrey airing Sunday, March 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN’s “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
According to TMZ, friends close to Bobbi Kristina say she is doing the interview because she trusts the talk show host and entertainment mogul.
“[Oprah] was loyal to my mom, and never did my mother wrong, or made her look bad. She always looked out for my mom,” Bobbi Kristina Brown reportedly tells her friends.
Sources also say that Oprah Winfrey was one of the first people who reached out to Bobbi Kristina after Whitney Houston’s passing.
Airing one month following Whitney Houston’s death, the exclusive OWN interview will also feature the singer’s sister-in-law Patricia Houston and brother Gary Houston as they discuss “rumors and speculation surrounding Houston’s death.”
In promotion of Sunday’s episode OWN has released a sneak peek trailer showing a glimpse of some of the show’s highlights.
