A Texas actress, who sued Amazon.com and its Internet Movie Database (IMDb) for revealing her age, was forced to unveil her identity.
The actress is Huong Hoang, who may be better known by her stage name, Junie Hoang.
Junie Hoang has appeared in such films as Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver and Hoodrats 2: Hoodrat Warriors.
She filed a million-dollar claim against Amazon, the Associated Press reports.
Junie Hoang says the company mined her account information on IMDB Pro, the professional part of the site, to learn her advanced age, which is 40.
It then posted it on her profile – causing her offers for roles to dry up.
Last month a federal judge in Seattle ordered the lawsuit dismissed, saying Junie Hoang had no grounds to proceed with an anonymous complaint.
The actress was given two weeks to file an amended complaint with her name included.
Junie Hoang refiled her lawsuit Friday under her real name, Huong Hoang.
