Sam Smith Cancels Japan and Manila Dates Due to Vocal Cords Haemorrhage

Sam Smith has been forced to cancel a series of shows in Japan and Manila due to a haemorrhage on his vocal cords.

The singer and is heading to the US to see a specialist.

Few days ago, Sam Smith had to cancel the second half of his Australian tour after doctors discovered bleeding.

Sam Smith is apparently “vocally exhausted” and has had to cancel the shows to avoid more serious damage.

Writing on Instagram, Sam Smith said: “Very upset about Japan and Manila dates.

“I’ve just left Australia and I’m on my way to the States to see a specialist to see what to do from there…”

Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour tour is due to come to Europe, starting with Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Norwich, the UK, from May 23rd. Those dates are still currently going ahead.
