Grammys 2015: Kanye West interrupts Beck as he collects Best Album Award

Kanye West started to interrupt Beck as he collects his Best Album Grammy Award, echoing his infamous 2009 on stage faux pas with Taylor Swift.

Prince was on stage announcing that Beck had won the Album of the Year award for his record Morning Phase.

“Like books and black lives, albums still matter – tonight and always,” the music legend said.

As Beck collected his award and walked up to the microphone, Kanye West approached the stage.

The audience gasped and jeered in horror thinking they will witness a repeat performance of one of the most cringeworthy moments in award ceremony history.

Kanye West famously interrupted Taylor Swift when she beat Beyoncé at the MTV VMA in 2009, shouting: “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!”
