Bollywood actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar has died aged 64.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar made his name playing villainous characters in Bollywood movie.

The actor was being treated for a lung infection at a hospital in Mumbai, his family said.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar had won the prestigious Filmfare award for playing the role of a ruthless eunuch in the 1991 film Sadak (Road).

Sadashiv Amrapurkar’s funeral will be held in Ahmednagar district in the western state of Maharashtra on Tuesday, his family said.
