The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 26, 2014.

The show will be broadcast on CBS at 8 PM ET/P.

Host LL Cool J kicked off the countdown to music’s biggest night on Friday with the Grammy Nominations Concert, featuring performances by Macklemore, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Katy Perry and more.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis opened the night their smash hit Thrift Shop, but it was their song Same Love that got a nod for Song of the Year.

Taylor Swift performed via satellite from Sydney, Australia, while her Red album was announced as a contender for Album of the Year.
