Snooki reveals her 50 lbs weight loss

Snooki has lost a dramatic 50 lbs since giving birth to her first child Lorenzo Dominic LaValle in August last year.

It seems Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is finally feeling beach body confident, as she took to the shores of New Jersey on Monday to show off the results of her incredible hard work.

Walking hand in hand with her fiance Jionni LaValle who held their baby son Lorenzo close to him, Snooki looked completely at ease as she flaunted her slimline figure in a high-waisted bikini on the public beach in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

In March this year, Snooki commented on her weight loss, saying: “If I can lose 42 lbs. after giving birth six months [ago], I mean, anybody could do it.”

“You just need the dedication, and you need to want to have your body back.”

Now it seems that the 4ft 8in frame star is loving the end result, enjoying the sun in her two-piece bathing suit.

She arrived at the beach with her family wearing a pretty white dress, but as the heat intensified Snooki, 25, had no qualms about getting her bikini body out on display.

After losing a dramatic amount of weight over the past year, Snooki has of course received criticism from people who feel she has taken her weight loss too far.

In response, Snooki took to Twitter last month to tell people she was happy and that was what is important.

She tweeted: “Everyone’s saying the <<new fit me>> isn’t what I’m suppose to look what. I wasn’t always a fata** kids. Get used to my fitlife, cause I love IT.”

Snooki gave birth to her son in August last year, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.
