Kim Kardashian cuts a striking figure in clingy long-sleeved black dress as she dines with Jonathan Cheban and her mother

After being prone to several maternity dress disasters, heavily pregnant Kim Kardashian looked simply stunning as she stepped out for dinner at Cipriani in New York with her mother Kris Jenner and closest friend Jonathan Cheban on Sunday.

Leaving her boyfriend Kanye West’s SoHo apartment, Kim Kardashian cut a striking figure in her clingy long-sleeved black dress that fit every curve in a most flattering way.

Kim Kardashian’s hemline stopped mid-thigh and even her limbs looked fine in their sheer black stockings, a pair of pointy black heels completing the overall look.

Her hair was one continuous smooth wave, brushed to the side and allowed to hang over one shoulder provocatively.

She had no qualms leaving her baby daddy Kanye at home to fend for his own dinner.

Kris Jenner, 57, seemed excited to be out too and she was dressed up in a stylishly tailored pink coat with flaring skirt, black leather trousers and high-heeled black leather boots.

Kim Kardashian meanwhile was graciously escorted by her longtime friend Jonathan, a public relations consultant, from car to restaurant entrance.

The mother-to-be actually enjoyed a practice run-through in her fetching ensemble the night before.

On Saturday Kim Kardashian tweeted a picture of herself wearing the same dress while posing with fashion editor Rushka Bergman who was similarly clad in a black dress.

Even Kim Kardashian’s hair was styled the same, showing that she is trying to look good even with that protruding bump.

“Me & my girl,” Kim Kardashian wrote in the photo caption.

The fashionista followed that up by posting a picture of herself looking incredibly glamorous and getting make-up applied by a technician.

Kim Kardashian included the message: “Ready NYC?!? With help from @ginabrookebeauty. Love Her!”

Ever since she announced her pregnancy, Kim Kardashian’s questionable attire has been a topic of conversation.

Earlier this week Kim Kardashian found support in television personality Cheryl Cole.

Cheryl Cheryl wrote on Thursday: “Just wanted to send you a tweet to say I think you are an incredibly beautiful woman inside and out.

“I can only imagine how tough it is to be heavily pregnant and feeling extremely vulnerable on top of some of the daily criticism you take! I admire your tenacity and send you my best wishes with the rest of your pregnancy.”

“Your message really touched me!” Kim Kardashian wrote back.

“Thank you so much for the support & positivity! It’s so important for women to feel confident & at peace during this amazing time! Your sweet tweet really made me smile!”

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian and her family have been upset by unpleasantness concerning the release of her late father’s diary.

The Kardashian clan were so outraged that their stepmother Ellen Pearson – who was wed to Robert Kardashian when he died – sold portions of his diary to the media that they filed a lawsuit in April.

Kim Kardashian and her siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Jr. demanded that the diary and family albums be returned to them.

They believe the personal writings belong to their family, and that Ellen Pearson Kardashian is infringing on their copyright, according to TMZ.com.

However, Ellen Pearson Kardashian insists the diary is rightfully hers and that the Kardashians don’t have a case, and she’s asking a judge to dismiss their case, the website reveals.
