Honey Boo Boo in giant inflatable ball at Atlanta country fair

Honey Boo Boo got stuck into the attractions at a local country fair in Atlanta, Georgia.

Alana Thompson, 7, especially enjoyed herself as she ran around in a giant inflatable ball positioned on water, laughing as she threw herself on the floor of the see-through orb.

The youngster sported a practical outfit of jeans and a red and white top as she hit the fair with her famous family.

Sisters Anna “Chickadee”, Jessica “Chubbs” and Lauryn “Pumpkin” strolled alongside mother June Shannon, although there was no sign of Alana’s father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.

Sugar Bear is currently recovering after undergoing an operation on his leg to treat an infection.

Earlier, Honey Boo Boo was spotted keeping herself entertained outside the family’s house, playing with a wheelchair which Sugar Bear has been using while his leg recovers.

The family home in rural McIntyre Georgia, has already been decorated for Halloween, with a plastic orange pumpkin set out on the outside stairs.

The family is having to get used to their new found fame, after their reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was a ratings hit for TLC.

TMZ have reported that TLC boosted the family’s salary from approximately $5,000 per episode, to a sky-high $20,000 after seeing the success of the series.

It added that TLC also offered to cover a number of additional expenses for the family, including a driver and bodyguard figure for Sugar Bear who was hospitalized recently after a “mud-boggin” crash.

The site also reports that the network wanted to help the clan relocate to a larger and more secure home, but June Shannon declined the offer as she likes to decorate the property over the holidays for the local community.

June Shannon has also refused to sign with an agent, despite numerous offers, TMZ says, for fear that a publicity schedule would keep her away from Sugar Bear and her girls.

TLC offered Alana Thompson, aka Honey Boo Boo, and her self-proclaimed redneck family their own spin-off series this year after she appeared on Toddlers & Tiaras.

The début season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo enjoyed an average of 2.4 million viewers per episode.

In response to the show’s success, TLC has ordered three HOLLAday specials (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) and additional episodes of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has become a pop culture phenomenon,” said Amy Winter, general manager of the U.S. network.

“What you see is what you get and we are excited to share even more of Alana and her family’s unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers.”
