Eric Besson, French industry minister asked his wife to go to bed with him on Twitter.

French industry minister, Eric Besson has accidentally sent a private message to his wife asking her to go to bed with him in a Twitter message published to thousands of readers.

Eric Besson, 53, meant to send the tweet privately to his beautiful wife, Tunisian-born Yasmine Tordjman, who is 29 years his junior.

French minister’s message was flashed up on the internet to more than 14,000 Twitter followers.

Eric Besson sent the message to his student wife, Yasmine Tordjman, 24, at 11:00 a.m. today, saying: “When I come home I’m going to bed. Too exhausted. With you?”

 

Eric Besson deleted the message within minutes, but, unfortunately, it had been “re-Tweeted” tens of thousands of times.

The minister later tried to make light of the gaffe, posting up: “That will teach me to manage my lists and not hit the send button by mistake. I’m not going to bed!”

Eric Besson later posted to all his followers: “OK, have your fun. I’ve got a meeting in parliament to prepare for.”

Eric Besson married Yasmine Tordjman last year after divorcing his wife of 25 years, Sylvie Brunel.

 

After the divorce, Sylvie Brunel branded Eric Besson a “serial cheat with inter-changeable mistresses”.

Sylvie Brunel said at the time: “I have been dumped for a woman as young as our eldest daughter.”

Eric Besson called his former wife’s comments “shameless”.

Yasmine Tordjman is the great grand-daughter of Wassila Bourguiba, the wife of a former Tunisian president Habib Bourguiba.

Minister Eric Besson has insisted that the large age gap between him and his wife makes “no difference” to their relationship.
