This was the longest music weekend in Thuringia ever, SonneMondSterne 2011 electronic music festival will be held in Germany from August, 12 to August, 14.

In the Saalburg-Ebersdorf of the Free State of Thuringia (Freistaat Thüringen) on Saalburg Beach the fans will listen to the music, will watch their favorite shows, will dance, will play volleyball and will have fun in the water, on the sand and in many other ways.

Partybus was organized for the neighbors, the concert-goers from The Netherlands, Belgium, France or Luxemburg.

Sonne Mond Sterne (meaning sun, moon, star) is  as a metaphor for festival program that is rolling night and day. This event is also called SMS.X5.

The Sonne Mond Sterne Festival (SMS) is a large open-air festival of electronic music which has been held in Germany since 1997. In the first year the festival was free and about two thousand five hundred people attended it.  Since then the event grew and in 2009 it had about one hundred thousand festival-goers. Usually, the main themes are rock and pop, and some of the biggest stars in electronic music are invited.

This year the SMS. X5  festival will have a number of venues: SMS. X5 main stage, SMS. X5 main circus, SMS. X5 second stage, clubtents (Dusted Decks/City of  Music,  Muna,  Cocoon,  Bass’n’Drums), beech bar Bar 25 and SMS. Boat.

SonneMondSterne 2011 will have a lot of live shows performed by various artists.
